Home made Warn winch controller
Переглядів 8 тис.5 років тому
Purchased this Warn 8274, with no controller. Made my own. Majority of the parts, including the switch, are from McLendon's. Wire is from Home Depot. And to correct myself, the switch was $12.99 (not $5), from McLendon's.
Remove detergent tray from Samsung top load washer

Removing the detergent tray from the Samsung top load washer model WA7000.
Perfect!
Thanks I have the same problem
Do you really have to use the tray. I just throw the soap in.
Disgusting bacteria buildup is what that mechanism causes. Can not believe the gunk it was making and it went into the wash. Door was left open the majority of time since it was bought! So that didn't prevent it! I have a mess on my hands to clean! Design should be banned from all washers!!! Why not, everything else changes in the washers stupidly, like a lock unless you stop washer! This isn't a stupid idea though! Give me the good ol washer from a years back. Never will I buy a Samsung again. Hoping drum outer part isn't causing gunk either!! That's what I thought at first. I'll find out once I clean that slot and do a wash!
I read where samsung said to do this, but mine was so stuck I started wondering if I was still doing something wrong and didn't want to break it. So after I saw this I figured I must be doing it right and kept pulling hard anyway and finally it came out. lol. edit: sigh. I was hoping cleaning it would stop there being water stuck in the softener tray after each wash, but it still does it.
Useless video!!! I mean, don’t go into any detail of how you did it……….
You should of show wich wires goes where on the switch and the winch box
omg thank you!!!! i did it! at first i thought noo still not working then after a few more tries i got it! so much gunk i had to rid!
my fingers hurt from tryna get it out! tilt and wiggle i did not try because i was afraid of breaking it lol
WHAAAT
Just bought a 88 jeep yj with a huge lift and 38 inch biggers , and has the same winch you got there . But no remote cord lol . Thanks man , I'm starting yer idea in the morning first thing 👌👌👌
Thanks a lot for the nice video! man today i was stuck in the middle of the desert here in Dubai! and i have a winch but don't have a remote control!!!!! I was a lone and it was dark 😥😥😥 I had to find a wire in the car and try troubleshooting by connecting the four pins one by another to test which of which can work for me! so I had to put the wire on one of the pint and try it on the other three until i knew how it work! Then I took a sack and filled it with sand and dig for it in the sand and cover it with sand and start the winch (and THANKS GOD I WAS OUT!!)
So what this guys saying is that he was stuck in the dessert and had to short out the wires until he got the winch to work then he took a sack (Croaker Sack I presume) and filled it with sand. Wrapped the cable around it and dumped it in a hole.
Thank you sooo much!! I tried and tried to pull the drawer out, BUT the wiggling of it is what finally worked!
Deep tub is great for large items✰✰>allmy.tips/SamsungTopWasher?xX eventhough it is required a grabber to get some small items from the bottom of the tub. Does a great job with all types of laundry - from sneakers to lace curtains. thank-you.
Top darts idea, I'll be utilising this exact method on a slightly bodgier scale. I picked up an ironman winch minus the shit you'd like to have but at $50 I can't beg for much more. Hopefully the breaker/solenoid pack is ok and your grand idea will sort out the remaining issue. Thanks in advance
Can you make a video showing how to make the remote, need one for a warn M8000
get the trailer light mLe and female like he has. remove the old one. Hook up the power and determine which of the other is in which is out. grab the on off on momentary switch. use a 3 wire extension chord and wire appropriately. live power power goes to centre of the on off on swirch
Are you pushing in on the sides when you pull it out or just doing that little shimmy of the drawer? I tried using the instructions at the Samsung website and they didn't work for me. I then used another video that said to push in on the sides and I got it to work... but it seems odd to me that the manufacturers instructions wouldn't work... (so I'm still watching videos, obviously)... maybe if all you're doing is the shimmy.. maybe that's the step I was missing and the whole pinching in the sides thing isn't entirely necessary?
Yes, lift up, then a little shimmy and pull kind of hard. I never really saw anything to pinch.
Do you have a writing digram
There's only about 50 vids on utube for that . Look it up !
Thank you so much you helped a lot can't thank you enough
Lowes has a little screw on rubber boot for toggle switches to keep the water out. Great buy on the winch. I've got an 8274 I've kept since 1977. Paid $577 new, back then.✌ Here's the home depot pic, but I've bought them at Lowes, too. Just screws on the switch' s threads. www.homedepot.com/p/Gardner-Bender-Toggle-Switch-Cover-Case-of-5-GSW-20/300374230
Dr. Mark in Texas Thanks for the info! I will check it out.
Mine does not fill up it just leaks it out flooded my entire house!!!
Even after watching this, my drawer was still super stuck. I found that as I wiggled it, I pressed inwards on the sides, and then it popped
That little wiggle of the drawer was what I was missing. Thank you
