I like to endurance shoot- that's one of the reasons I always liked the Excalibur. They can take it and servicing is very simple. That bow is pretty slick though.

My Nitro 505 gets 521 fps with a 400 grain arrow. So it’s not a 505. It’s a 521! Based on calculators, it can achieve 500 fps with a 500 grain arrow! That’s sick! Say whatever you wish about the 515, it’s not faster than my “505.” Yes, it does make a difference! There are a lot of 505’s out there like mine. Accuracy has been top notch from the start. I’m getting 507 fps with a 470 grain hunting arrow. Too much power? Sure! But every benefit has a consequence. I love it and proud to report that I haven’t lost an arrow yet. My “521” has had no problems since I got it! Never let me down!

What 'more on' would use a broadhead

Many years ago I owned a tenpoint titan Xtreme and wicked ridge invader xbows. Loved both of them. Then this company called Ravin came out. I thought I gotta try it out. Let's make a long story short, the Ravin lasted 2 years, limb issues, bought an Excalibur good bow just did not like width went to scorpyd, killer instinct they all had limb issues. I bought a tenpoint 505, love it. By the way the wicked ridge invader and tenpoint titan extreme, still hunting with the same limbs all these years later. If you want to get in to xbows buy tenpoint.
