@@Onionzy that's kinda the case but there is also system IPS which works for certain loops and combos, in this exact case IPS starts each time Jotaro does his j.c 5a 6b loops, but it's not as IPSable as, for example, j.c 5a 6b x 236c, which absolutely won't end any good for you...

you can cancel your 214s input before the superflash appears into any special, that's called tandem cancelling, idk about other chars but Jot has s.66c (s.214s cancel) xx 214b cancel as the easiest to start off with
