    You're an interesting dude. You seem on the verge of awakening, or at least sincerely seeking. I used to wear a t-shirt in my 20's that had 'Hell is other people' on it, and I still feel the same way now. I'm the same age as you man ;-) As individuals some people are like a breath of fresh air, but most are not just asleep, but deeply asleep and unaware of how damaging they are to everyone in their vicinity.

      Thank you. I am aware of the conditioning of society because of the various traumas I have been through. Most people will never become aware of themselves truly. No one is ever "safe" in the world. Health can be gone in an instant, rich or not, and death finds us all.. Much of humanity is disgusting.

    Even though I think the answers or more accurately the pointers we are ultimately looking for are spiritual in nature, the new age movement is absolute BS to me and really muddies the waters as far as finding out your true nature.

      Yes, New Age is a religion and cult to many. It has its own versions of deities and mythical beings. I believe paranormal exist from my own experience, but critical thinking must be present to hypothesize possible reasons that unusual or supernatural events occur.

    We've all adopted or created a character of some sort or another that we live our life through. Very few of us are our authentic selves or ever stop to think introspectively like you have, and begin watching the watcher.

    • @Jeromy_1
      @Jeromy_1 4 дні тому

      I believe it is very difficult for anyone to conceive that they are living out a fiction of who they think they really are. 100 percent authenticity is likely unachievable with society set up as it is.

    Sounds like the life of a neurodiverse person (coming from being that myself). Maybe a dash of emotional neglect from the parents so it’s become impossible to know what version of you is true and what is most safe in whatever environment you’re in. Sending hugs and trust that whoever you are is who you’ve become and that’s enough

      I had not thought of that. My childhood was not stable. Quite a bit of chaos off and on. I don't believe I ever had a core identity form. Thanks for watching and your comment.

    I think the question of who am i? is one of the most urgent existential questions, yet i couldn't answer it, i questioned my identity on a daily basis. What do i want in life? What if all my beliefs have external influence? Who am i really? I am nobody, not even me, and there's no me. Individualism is but an illusion. Everybody is nobody. There's no self, no objectivity, i am just an existing alive adult human being period. Everything else i identify with is but illusion i deluded myself with my entire life. That's the most plausible answeri got, the question of who am i? Nobody, absolute nothingness. I stopped seeking external validation as i realized how absurd it is, i live by myself with absolutely zero friends/partner, cause it's the only way i know, sometimes i crave for a human connection yet, it's a futile pursuit people are just as confused as i am, driven by ego, illusions of having a self, it's like i can see beyond their facade, and i don't like what i am seeing. Thanks for your videos mate, i really appreciate it.

      You are welcome. Thanks for watching. I choose to stay alone for many of the reasons you speak of. Society, jobs, family, friends .... has most people stuck in conditioned cycles. When you see your own conditioning and possible mental illness, it becomes easier to see the masks others wear and their fake personas. And it becomes easier to handle trolls, because it is very clear they lack their own self confidence and are often times mentally unstable.

    I think there's no need for a fixed identity. In fact, I'd see it as a bad sign for someone to neatly fit into a mold. Furthermore, you evolve all the time, that's why I'm against tattoos: if I had tattooed myself with the band I liked at 19, I'd have to somehow rationalize it and make sure I can still "back that up" say, at 29, when I definitely didn't like it anymore or at least it wasn't as important. This is not to say you can't have a personal style, just that it can be any mixture of things, corny or not, sophisticated or not - and it will continue changing.

    • @inkubatorius

      I think its a beautiful thing to have tattoos that represent a certain time of your life or get tattoos to signify an important event or a change of some sort.

    • @Jeromy_1
      @Jeromy_1 5 днів тому

      Yes, we continue to evolve through life. Likes and dislikes do change, and we should allow for that. Some things just have a place and time in our history. I have tattoos, but I did choose tribals many years ago. I knew I would likely never grow tired of the artwork. I agree that it can be problematic getting names or some specific tats. You may not like them later.

    • @Jeromy_1

      @ddmozz 5 днів тому

      @@Jeromy_1 Yeah of course, this is nothing against tattoos in general. I mean, tattoos about specific things that may not represent you later on. E.g., people tattoing their name of their partners, and they later break up etc. With bands / movies / stuff you currently like, I think it's a good idea to wait for a year or so to see if you still like the idea.

    It feels like you're speaking my story man, it's a pain in the ass maintaining these.. parts of you in a nuanced way. I don't think I put on a facade or a mask, similar to you I just have a wide variety of interests. I never tried to care too much about the fact I didn't entirely fit into one niche or another, reason being, there's not much to be done about it and plus I'm so much happier that way. I've had people call me a poser, or weird, or freak, or insert derogatory here. It got to the point I embraced that it was something I wouldn't be able to curb and sacrificing my own wellbeing mentally was not worth it, as it would suffocate my energy and self esteem, cause I wasn't fully being me.

    It's far more probable that we are a product of something alien. If there is any validity to religious texts, these ancient people would have interpreted them as such. Something created DNA, and I just don't buy it was a man in the sky or random chance. I would believe that before any other questionable man made religion. Why would they come? Same reason we create lab experiments on bugs and build ant farms. Knowledge and expansion are universal currencies. Heck, they may just want the planet itself. It is quite rare and unique with a moon and perfect distant from its star. Just a thought...

    @Jeromy An absolute *MUST READ* book on Damien Echols court case is called -- *"ABOMINATION: **_Devil Worship and Deception_* *_in the West Memphis Murders"_* -- which was -- written *BY* -- famed attorney *WILLIAM RAMSEY* . . Perhaps you could consider doing a video-review of the book-highlights and / or also interviewing William Ramsey or having him on your podcast (maybe even along with Damien Echols and also Lorri Davis and the three of them can compare notes about the case). Just a thought. .

    • @Jeromy_1

      I believe they are innocent. As I state in this video, I lived the bs of Marion, Ar during that period and knew Damien. The area was racist, full of bigots, the police were corrupt and he and I were often bullied. It was traumatizing for me. I never saw anything to do with devil worshipping. satanic, or occult in my time living and going to high school there. I love how these authors come up with this stuff but were not there. It was a disgusting place to be in that time.

    I just ran across your channel and subscribed. First I love supporting small channels and I'm trying to get my up and going but I'm listening to your story and I'm 52 and man I swear probably around 10 years ago I was catfished and almost scammed by a blonde girl who said she was from I think Oklahoma but her name was Hannah also. I didn't know at first she wasn't real but just a scammer so I played along but it wasn't too long before I caught on but I decided to mess with them back and it lasted just a couple days or so and finally "she" broke character when I told him I was interested in doing this scam and working with him just to get them to blow their cover and sure enough it was a guy in Lagos Nigeria and after he finally told me that he was a he and not a she I basically told him to beat it in not so nice of a way and that was that. If you want them to blow their character just tell them that you do this same scam and you would like to work with them and they will blow it fast lol then tell them to kick rocks. But you definitely did a great job not letting yourself be scammed. And hang in there man life is weird. But you got this.. Best of luck and I'll check out your other videos.

    Thanks for posting this. I just went back and pulled up a text I got this summer, "Hello, is this Annie's phone number?" to which I replied "Sorry, no." Then they said "I'm sorry, I think I have a wrong number. I hope I'm not interrupting your beautiful day." I never replied. I've been thinking this was an old girlfriend who I'd blocked a few weeks earlier who was up to something. Now I think it was a catfish looking for someone, anyone who didn't mind having their beautiful day interrupted. Also: you got a wrong number from Anna, and I got a wrong number looking for Annie. Fairly unlikely, I reckon! and it's from a 213 (Los Angeles) area code, to boot! I feel silly being paranoid about such an extremely polite text, but if you look at it closely it's extremely phishy. Ya'll be careful out there!
