thank you for the journal inspiration. I am a journaler and a knitter and I am keeping a knitting journal in my travelers notebook as well. It is fun to see others do the same thing.

So nice to see everything come along!! I love how chaotic yet cohesive the colours of the granny throw are!! Not sure if you'd want to make this, but the To Draw sweater by Rievive makes it easy to add a pop of colour, while still keeping the whole piece neutral.

I use the those plastic roll counters a lot ... what i do is just add a small piece of yarn threw it and tie it then get a clip and attach it to the bottom or side edge of my work. How did your new row counter work out? I tried using something like that but found that my yarn kept getting wrapped around it. The round markers are stitch markers the one with the different clasp is the progress keeper and can be used to mark a stitch you start and can see how much you did in a day, or a week, or a month whenever you move it up so you have an idea how much progress you did in a certain time frame. Those charms can be used for whatever makes you happy! I have added them to zipper pulls myself as well as my knitting and crochet projects. And not sure if this is in all your videos only watched this one, but there is like 6 minuets of just black dead space at the end.

The barrel size row counter also comes in a version with a ring for circular needles. You can either use the ring to put it on your needle or clip it to the work with a pin style stitch marker. I use the ring to fasten it to the work at the start of the row or round. Every time I start a row or round, I’m prompted to adjust the row counter.

You are definitely one of my favourite creators. Such a calming effect! I love your colour choices too. I like the mix of knitting with journaling, works well.

I love the colors in your Plumpy Shawl! It looks so cozy! Thank you for sharing all of your projects. I have never purchased an advent. They are a big investment for something that you don't get to see beforehand, and I'm too worried that I wouldn't have a good project to make with them.

😍Love all of them, That Beanie is soo pretty for Fall! I thought the holes were part of the pattern😅 I would personally try & get more of the yarn and recreate it knowing the new measurements. If my kids were truly interested in something I made. Then we would match! Thats a treat for some of us Parents while our Children are with us🥰 As for the sock gap at the heel bind; I get those sometimes. I find adjusting my tension helps alot. But, you have motivated me into finding a video on how I can avoid it in the future. Beautiful projects!! I am not purchasing anymore yarn until I can use up a lot of what I already have on hand. I finished a prayer shawl for my friend for her birthday and she loves it. I am making a Swiffer reusable pad right now and I want to start a coffee cozy and mug rug for the upcoming fall season. I also want to make some cozy socks for gifts soon.

I’ve bought one advent calendar from a local Aussie dyer, and thankfully she allowed us to pay in instalments. I was very tempted by the amirisu advent calendar…and then i remembered the shipping costs from japan 😅 I’m currently contemplating on whether i should participate in the WestKnits MKAL at the moment…because I’m not sure if its going to be a slog like the last shawl was…which i am also contemplating frogging because I don’t actually wear it.

Gorgeous! I just finished my first sweater but I wasn’t brave enough for sock yarn. I used bulky… lol. Up until that point I only knit socks… but with worsted weight… lol. Now, I’m working in a DK weight shawl, then I hope to try some sock weight socks. So glad you shared that you have a knitting channel!!! I can’t wait to see what beauty you create ❤. I’m Team 9” too! I’m sure it’s probably more efficient to do things two at a time but I’ve had no desire to learn that particular skill. I have so many skeins I bought thinking, “I don’t want to put this pretty yarn in my shoes where no one will see it.” (I do love socks, however.) There are quite a few small scarf/bandana patterns I’ve liked lately: La Bien Aimee, Sari N., Petite Knitter. I haven’t done any of them…yet. Also, I recommend the Ferryboat Mitts-that’s a DK or worsted weight but you could double your fingering weight. I paused your video to follow Morbid Kitten Fibre…thanks for mentioning. 🐈‍⬛

I’m having the one skein problem as well! I have so many skeins i bought at the start of my obsession with sock weight yarn that was just one skein that I’m struggling to figure out what to do with them…there’s only so many socks, beanies and gloves you can knit 😂😅

I can’t remember the yardage off the top of my head, but I recently purchased a pattern from Yucca called the 3kaku Shawl that might be something to look into for those ~special skeins~

I like the colour combination of the completed sock, good job Mits! Would be interesting to know if there is a different in comfort of wearing with both methods, from top to toes and toes to top.

I tend to knit socks throughout the summer and sometimes a shawl, sweaters are just too hot and too much fabric unless I can stay in a/c.
