Ahh, yes, thanks for the suggestion! I considered stopping on G for 2 beats, which is traditionally done to make it easier to say and play (and balance the bars), but I have found it more effective, long-term, for my students to practice straight through, with one note per beat, while saying the alphabet without stopping at G: New beginners don't necessarily know what bars/measures are or feel the need to stop, except to pause and think about what comes after G, which is what I'm trying to have them avoid from the get-go. Getting the hang of saying A after G forward and (and G after A backward) is a fundamental skill to reading, hearing, and playing fluidly. But I may make a follow-up video, following your advice, since it may be conceptually easier for many students.
