As long as the earth lives the sun is calmed by your ceremony and can handle any passing gas giants and even vaporize them as a snack rather than colliding and becoming a White Giant. Some say on Venus there was just too much Penis and this has all already happened and our previously red sun become yellow but although it has more white (nuclear) power it can still be calmed and made more red to live just as long or virtually forever.
