    Not surprised you got no subscribers, you spent 3 and a half minutes complaining and rambling about how no one subscribed and how you were doing everyone a favour instead of talking about the reason everyone is here. Maybe people would subscribe if the content was worth subscribing for. People aren't going to subscribe for your lackluster, low quality video bellyaching about how low your sub count is.

    I have a 2003 epi LP Standard flametop. It needs a fret job but otherwise it's an amazing sounding guitar. I think it has Gibson 57 classic pickups but im not 100% on that. Its better than my 3 Chinese LP's. All are 2022 models. A 50s, a Silverburst customer, and a Jerry Cantrell "Wino." They're not bad guitars but just dont sing like the 03 Epi.

    The Gibson Black Beauty of the 1950s well at least the one that Les Paul himself played on a Gibson and the pick ups where black not Gold or silver and it was hard to see them there is a video on youtube of him and his wife playing out side in the garden so yeah to me that is the only true Les Paul Black Beauty year 1957 .

    • @spankeyguitars8457
      @spankeyguitars8457 3 місяці тому

      Hello Edward!...I didn't even know they released it until your comment. But my experience with epiphone, whether its made in china, korea, japan or elsewhere, has been very good. So I'd imagine people are going to enjoy these ones also. Having said that, after playing both gibson and epiphone, the difference between the two are still significant, but rightfully so. But I still love both products...I might just have to get one now! For me, part of the fun was simply searching across the world for the elusive gibby headstock epi, but now that they will be more accessible, thats also fun.

    I've been a JB fan for decades. One of my best experiences with a JB was when I had a Les Paul Studio and after swapping out a bunch of different pickups including a Duncan Distortion landed on the JB. It had bright forward mids which was what that LP needed because it was a very dark, mid heavy guitar. The JB brought it to life in a big way.

    There is a volume difference, but that is fixed by a turn of the knob. My take is the Celestion sounds more focused, precise. The stock speaker too wild, less controlled. Now much depends on the sound you want in your head. I play clean, instrumental classic pop, a touch of rock, touch of jazz, so the Celestion is hands down the winner for me. I have this amp by the way and will replace the speaker with the Celestion based on this excellent comparison: ua-cam.com/video/WlTrYZjm4HM/v-deo.html

    • @spankeyguitars8457
      @spankeyguitars8457 6 місяців тому

      I got this one from marketplace also, but I only paid 200 cdn. I would say 380 is a bit high, but depending on how plays and feels, might be worth it. But before you buy any guitar, i would suggest playing every note on the fretboard to see if they all resonate. Sometimes, the lower end guitars will have abit of a warp in the neck and some notes won't ring out...I went to michigan this one time and ordered some popcorn, the lady there said she liked my accent and gave me the popcorn for free...lol I wish that would happen more often...
