@michaelreyes3759 hey thanks for watching! They arrive somewhat tensioned. The first few times you use it, the line will suck into the spool a bit until it's all packed in nice. But it's not enough to worry about letting all the rope out and re-spooling it. I WILL ADD this which has been great! I use it all the time, flipping SXSs and buggies back on its wheels or just ripping out the neighbors shrubs and bushes haha. Highly recommend.

@darrelsmith4549 just takes a lot of heart! And obviously some metal working tools and skills required. But I built my first buggy with a 4.5" angle grinder and a welder. Made every single tab by hand. Start with the main parts, engine, transmission, tcase, axles, seats, radiator, fuel tank. Start building around that! Enjoy and have fun.

They normally always are. But that's half the fun! Pretty stoked how this one turned out. Hopefully the owner can put the finishing touches on it and hit the trails!

It uses a 360 joint. It used to be made by a company out of Canada. I had those joints sitting on my shelf for years and the owner of the jeep mentioned wanting to do a 1 link. So on it went! Uses a 2-5/16 ball. "Links" are 1/4wall boxed tubing. Seems pretty solid to me!

How it worked?

@user-nr3cf2yb2x His transmission died 1 trip after this video, but it wheeled pretty good before that. I believe he's got it all back together with a newly installed cam in the 5.3.

@user-nr3cf2yb2x unfortunately, they stopped making them years ago. I have built something similar using 1, 1-1/4 hiem joint. I'll do some googling when I got some time and see if I can find something similar

I have 18" travel. But I think I would have done 16s if I didn't get a rocking deal on these shocks. Got them used off marketplace.

That's awesome!! Yep, broke his motor mount day 1. He jumped in my jeep and had a good time still. Yes! We had bears 3 nights in a row. They stole tortillas every night haha. Bears must like tacos. 🌮 I was ignorant and left my food container on the ground outside... closed. They opened it quietly and only took tortillas. The other 2 nights we had food inside of jeeps amd they jumped through a window both nights. Too funny. Hope yall had an awesome time! Thanks for checking out the video

@@WGR_Garage haha they certainly know how and where to look for food. They also like chicken teriyaki I guess since that's what they went for in our trash. Funny thing is when we were done with the trail we spent the night in South Lake Tahoe at a motel and I threw our trash into one of their outdoor trashcans in the parking lot- the next morning when we got up another bear had gone through the SAME trash that I had cleaned up on the trail and strown it out everywhere for a second time lol.
