My favorite song will always be Gee I'm Glad It's Raining, but damn Jim was a talented musician. When the audience started clapping along you could see him shifting gears and just getting lost in the music.

I think this woman demonstrates a certain flexibility in her body language which may be a lesson for us all. What that lesson is, I don't know. More mysterious is the view of the Muslim Bros-in-the-hood. I do know that Martin Mull, in his leisure suit, was funny on this program. Maybe we should refer to him as Martin X? I can say this is a giant step forward in my flexibility, because I have a leisure suits phobia, which may not be inclusive enough for the more woke among us, out there in You Tube land. So I want to offer an insincere apology to anyone that I've offended, and if you could see me now, I'm on one knee, okay? And this helps to explain why the press can say that violent demonstrations and looting are peaceful. It's a kind of a flexibility in thinking.

Gary Burghoff played Charlie Brown in the original stage production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." in 1967. The LP record of songs from that production is here on UA-cam. I urge people to listen to this. Gary was a great singer who sang some difficult parts. I couldn't find any.film of the production. There is a picture of a very young Gary as Charlie and it's funny because he has his cap on sideways. The way the "gangsta gangbangers" wear them now. Charlie was the first "non-conformist". Gary was not like shy "Radar" at all. He was gregarious and at times considered arrogant. Many of the M*A*S*H cast members liked "Radar" but didn't quite like Gary. Now when I watch M*A*S*H I can't help but see Radar as Charlie Brown. Or Charlie Brown as Radar. Gary invented a very successful fresh water fishing lure.

back in those days Thursday Nite was stay at home nite because of Barney Miller, then Soap, then Fernwood 2 Nite an not to mention the short run of Richard Pryors` show that the last one was preempted and never shown in Atlanta because of a supposed hijacking at Hartsfield Airport....grrrr

One of the most original comedies EVER! Totally underrated.

When watching MASH, notice that Gary Burghoff's (Radar's) left hand is always hidden behind a clipboard or his teddy bear. Gary was born with a deformed left hand that was missing fingers. He was one of the first long term, truly physically disabled actors to appear on TV for any extended period of time-without being a token disabled character. Just an interesting fact. By the way, you'll never watch MASH the same way again without hunting for the rare moments of the quick exposures of Gary's left hand. You're welcome. :)

Now correct me if I am wrong, but was there not an episode where there was an aquarium full of dead mice and a mouse sized leisure suit on a tiny sized coat hanger?
