How is this guy even allowed around children?
@@canadiangemstones7636 I am sorry you are stuck inside a gross, sad, soulless body. My grandmother always said pretty is as pretty does.. I also was born into a generation who mostly knows the phrase, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In other words, you have been dismissed and I wish for you, that you are treated and spoken to as you do others. You may have made it to church Sunday, if not, you should consider going, you will find people who you are destined to meet.
I can use these on people who don't know how to park
Technically you have a jacketed slug. Why not just leave the old primer in the 9mm brass and fill from the other end and still flux for better adhesion of lead to the brass? Did you size your brass prior to filling with lead, for a speaker OD? Lots of questions on performance, how about a video on how they perform, please.
Man ahead of our time....
This is the best idea ive found! This is going in my video tool box.
Thank You! Very good info!
Force multipler
Thanks to the OG of casting 👍
Should add a parts list in your details
Do you have a parts list available and where to purchase the upgrades online?
Even 5 years later, your homebrewed casting sand is still far less expensive than commercial Petrobond. Sure, the price of Polyblend has gone up in the intervening time - now at our local Home Depot, a 25 Lbs bag will set you back $19.59 (but they'll deliver it for free :) This is still at least eight times cheaper which amounts to serious savings for the DYI'er. Thank you so much for doing these videos. I can well imagine many people new to the ancient art of metal cast will continue to appreciate your contributions for many years to come.

Thanks so much for your videos. Do you have any footage of you replacing that breech spring with the hacksaw blade. I'm working on this same gun and have the exact same problems. Same breaks on the stock same shattered spring. Thanks!
I agree. I had my MK II repaired for free !!

I believe I’ve found over a hundred pounds of Linotype (in printing bar form) like you’ve shown in this video. But, I’ve only purchased twenty pounds so far and would like to know for sure that it’s the real deal before I buy any more. It is for the most part thin bars 4”-5” in length and most are about 1/8” thick. Some are only 1/8” thick at the top part (where the letters are) and the bottom part tapers down thinner with ribs spaced approx 1” apart. I’m going to melt some of it down this evening to see if it melts between 470* - 570* to further verify it’s Linotype. Here’s the part I’m unsure of. If a 1/8” bar of pure lead were bent/flexed it would do so without breaking or snapping in half. The bars that I brought home yesterday(with writing on them and some that still have ink on them) will snap if you try to bend them at all. They are very hard and pretty much will not flex or bend like pure lead. The fact that they are almost brittle is what has me wondering. Understandably, they wouldn’t be as soft as pure lead, but should they snap in half when trying to bend them? Does that sound like how the Linotype you have had your hands on would react to bending? Just so you know, I’ve been casting for low velocity pistol loads (45acp, 38special, 9mm) for about two years now, but with none of my lead exceeding the hardness of wheel weights. I had never even seen a piece of Linotype in person before yesterday, if in fact that is what I’ve found. Thank you in advance for your help.
The melting temperature of the Linotype I located was 450* but still a little sludgy. It was good and liquified at 500.
I always thought that they would make a neat little portable loading press, but I never messed with mine. I have two in a box that I bought for a buck of peace at the thrift store.
no sand in the sand? I’m not sure what the mixture is. grout and oil? only. tks for the video.
That's awesome I bought two of these brand new in a box last year and thought the same thing that's something that could be used for reloading

It will serve to install on a wall so that someone cannot climb up the wall.
Good Evening, thank you for the videos. I just finished a .410 and your videos worked great for me. I am subscribed and getting notifications. I would like to thank you and looking forward to more from you.
My main spring looks like a wishbone not a typical spring. How do I reassemble this?
Hello, I am not familiar with the older models, I apologise I can not offer advice on this one. If you ever need advice on another model, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for your time and I appreciate your comment, blessings to you and your family, Casey & MariSue.
Whats new?
Lol you cut him off. I have a question for you. What ratio would you recommend for air rifle slugs ? I was told 6 percent linotype to 94 percent lead, does that sound odd.
Back off lino to 3%, you want your ammo to ride the barrel correctly. Thank you, blessings to you and your family, Casey & MariSue
Better yet---mount a machine screw with two flat washers and nuts in the housing hole. You then take a piece of 1/16" sheet steel bent to fit the counter of the aluminum circular housing (ACH)--adjust the screw so it holds the steel bracket that you made firmly againt the ACH. Tighten the nut to hold it in place.
@@5tonswguns219 Yes, remove the bottom "cap" end --it will help retain the steel strip ver nicely; but will go back on pretty tightly.
Sorry That response was to another comment, you are sharp and what a great idea. Fantastic, thank you for your time. Blessings from us to you and your family. We appreciate the time and effort you put into your idea and it is a great idea.

Casey, you don’t know me, but I was enjoying your channel. I remember you saying that you were moving and you will not be posting any videos for a while. Well now I believe that is has been over 12 months since you have posted a video. I hope all is well with you and your family. On a separate note, I have a Catahoula and I live about 100 miles north of Sydney Australia. I would love to hear from you. Steven
