Considering today's cosplaying and gorefest/steampunk craze, I suspect they're relying a lot on "bad ass" costumes, cars, and techno-soundtrack to carry the film. I predict just an updated version of Beyond Thunderdome

Not sure why I can't reply to certain people on here? Oh how wonderful the Google+ integration is.. Anyway, to clear some things up: George Miller has stated that Mad Max 4 is going to be full of actual stunts, with real physical damage, and that there was to be as little CG as possible.

We hope that Mad Max movie nowadays, with computadorized car crashes and chases, all done in CGI, it is not something silly or boring. It was very good when it happened in real (and safely).

After seeing the rough cut the studio decided to put more money into it so George Miller could add a major chase scene that wasn't in the budget.

Nope, they are not "Shooting the rest of the scenes", they've already shot most of the film, they are currently doing reshoots to assist in the editing of the action scenes is all. The film is on target for a mid-2014 release. A rough cut already exists and people are saying it's awesome.
