My dad was a prospector and he would spend a lot of time in Quartzsite looking for gold...he use to sell his gold dust to Knotts Berryfarms ...He also use to make hat bands out of rattle snake skin.... he always had his 45 with him out there ....

One of these days I will be driving to Quartzite to check out the camping areas. I live in Havasu so the drive will not be too long. It looks beautiful and it looks a lot slower then Havasu. It’s getting too crowded for me.

Well, I never had Indian food before, and neither has my wife, she got the chicken curry, I got the fish brusch something, she ate the whole thing, I could only handle half, when we got home she puked it up, and my stomach was boiling it was the most spicy hot stuff we have ever had, now I have been known to eat jalapeños off of a grill, you can have that crap, I will never darken their door again, and ya I am a local not a snowbird.😂😂😂

How cool, I didn't even know they had a track in Blythe. I would love that but I don't drive at night. Years ago I followed Nascar and I lived by the Ontario Speedway in Calif. before it closed. back in the 70's.
