Really interesting project! Have you tried using a wick inside the pole?
Thank you! No, but that’s a really good idea! 👍🏽😀🪴
This is a really interesting approach! However, won't these dry out quickly, say in a room with <40% humidity?
Yes they do dry out fast. They are mainly to help the plant climb and to give them something to attach to. But at the same time, you could water from above as much as you want. With no organic material you don’t need to worry about your plants in semi-hydro rotting in the nutrients mix.
@WesleysPlantWorld cool! Have you thought about a chop & extend strategy? Thinking that one could chop off the upper part of the plant, pot it and build more pole above it. That way, the plant should in theory continue growing ever larger leaves. I was then thinking about a wick or similar, and you'd get air layering from the aerial roots. Hope I made sense 🙄
If you like it that much then you need to try the gynura PURPLE PASSION this one that you have is the AURAMTIACA like you said but if you like the velvety little tiny hair look but even more then this, the you absolutely gonna fall in love with the purple passion. Actually, the purple passion, when it's older, the older leafes will look like your plant but it needs some time. Look it up, I didn't know they existed, bought my first one today and I'm stunned by the beauty of it.
That sounds amazing! I’ll have to look it up, thank you 🙏🏽😃🪴
I absolutely cannot wait to get my supplies! Thank you so much for the video!🌱🪴
You are so welcome. Have fun! 😃🪴
@@WesleysPlantWorld Question. What is the width of your mesh? I'm only finding 6 inch wide rolls.
I did this to manjula as well but I left it in water. Is it better to place it in leca? Do you have any updates on how yours is currently doing?
Glad I found you. Thank you for the thorough tutorial. I have several cuttings, but didn't know I could put them in the same pot. I'll be watching your other videos. I have multiple African Violets that are growing like weeds, and I'm overwhelmed trying to figure out what to do with them.
Thank you for watching. Have fun with all your plantings. It sounds wonderful with all your cuttings 😃🪴
Thank you for sharing I'm going to develop a five acre bamboo forest
Your welcome! Wow that sounds amazing! Good luck 😃🎋🎋
I love this plant. But the temperature in my city goes like 49°C in summer. So I wonder even if in indoors will it make it...
I can always come to you and find out cuz I just am trying to stake mine. Merry Christmas 2024❤
Wonderful! Merry Christmas to you too 😃🎄✨
Another great video! Im going to propagate! ❤
Thank you. Have fun propagating 😃🌿🪴
Send me your contact number dear I'm Dr kkyadav from India I want discussion something
Beautiful Wesley! 🌲❄️ I live in a place that rarely gets any snow (nary a flake for 2 years!) seeing your charming garden gives me such joy, so tyfs ❤
Thank you so much, so kind of you to say. Have a lovely day ☃️🩵
Do you let the cut callus before putting em in water? I have been very unsuccessful propping these
Im glad you showed you washed the roots! I bought one from a box store and found critters crawling through the soil. I washed the roots fearing Id possibly kill it but now don't feel too bad seeing this video, Thanks!
I'm glad you got rid of the critters with no problems. Mine is doing really well and pupping out a lot!
Beautiful 🙏💛✌️💪🫶
Thailand 🇹🇭 is amazing for plants 🪴
Wesley, hello from USA. Thank you for the hotel garden tour. It was so beautiful. I also want to say that the tours of your various gardens at your home were absolutely fabulous.
Hi USA 🇺🇸! 👋🏽Thank you so much. So kind of you to say. It’s always a pleasure sharing 🙏🏽😊🪴🌸🌱
Lovely Hoyas .Lovely presentation. I have one Hoya type the sweetheart hoya and I if I made a video about her I would sound as hapy as you do. Thanks for lighting our plant world.
Thank you so much for your kind compliments. I bet your Hoya is amazing to see :-)
I loved that close up viewing of your Hoya. Thanks for sharing. I have one Hoya ke. Started from two leaves three years ago. Flowers beautifully in the past two years.
Thank you. It sounds like you have a lot of success with your Hoyas. Enjoy them :-)
Thank you my dear I just bought one and I know to come to you❤❤
You are so welcome. Enjoy your beautiful plants 🪴🙏🏽🙂
I adooore the red ones ❤
I know they’re amazing aren’t they! 😃🍂
Finally someone who can actually explain the concept behind taking care of the plant. I thank you for your time and effort to explain all the prons and cons of it. Mine dropped half of the leaves and people are telling me I did not give enough water. Do not know what to do. I understand that the soil is hard and it must be hard for the plant to breathe 😢. I am repotting it
Love it 🥰
Thank you 🙂🪴
❤❤❤
Wow!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!
Thank you so much. I had fun! :-)
You do beautiful landscaping ❤
Thank you so much. Being in the garden is just so much fun :-)
I really like the way those leaves are shaped. Beautiful
Thank you. Yes they are beautiful plants 🙂🪴
Ode to discovery, rock, boulders and vision......... Joy
Thank you. You enjoy your garden too 🌿
Lovely ! I live at high altitude/deep snow country of California. Just today I was splitting and transplanting ferns and Spirea in a shady woodland along part of our pathway...... Wonderful how we are at far reaches of our globe yet tending and beautifying our homes and land prior to winter snowfall. Our temperatures just began to drop over the past couple weeks and the transplanting and propagation season begins with a smile on my face. Ode to our shared joy of botanicals, gardening, creating and enjoying life's incredible wonders along the way..... I just happened upon your channel this evening and am delighted that I have.
Hi there in California 🇺🇸 from Sweden 🇸🇪. Thank you so much for your kind compliments. Yes, it’s always a joy being able to utilise the bounties the garden can give and enjoying the fruits of one’s labour. Enjoy your lovely garden 😊🙏🏽🌲🌿

Thanks for sharing Wesley!
Your welcome 🙂🌲
Hey, do you have an update on the knotweed? Do you still have it in your garden or is it gone completely now?
Hi! This plant does still come up in our garden but only in small manageable amounts now. We just pluck up storks that come up in the borders and mow those down in the grass. So not completely gone, but not a huge problem either.
It does look cozy Wesley!
Thank you 😊🙏🏽🌿
Don't you dare cut that plant!
Haha! 🪴
Nice greenery!
Thank you 😊🌿☘️
Beautiful place!
Thank you 🙏🏽 😊🌲
Love seeing how this garden has progressed, your style is so beautiful and effortless
Thank you so much. Yes, I love watching the progress too 😊🙏🏽☘️🌱🌿
Congrats on 8,000 subs; next it’s the award for 10,000! Thanks for sharing your hobby with us Wesley!
Thank you so much. Yes that would be wonderful 😃👍🏽🌿
Wow, how beautiful!
Thank you 🙂🌿
Lovely Wesley!
Thank you 🙏🏽 😊
What a good idea. The colors on the bottom of the plant will make the Mini look eye catching
Thank you 😃🙏🏽🪴
❤
I have just ordered my first reverse pulsatilla they are so beautiful hope you can help , I have to grow in pots( container garden) . What size pot , . I am about to receive 3 . From QVC . . Look forward to your advise
Sounds great. You can put them in any size pot, but give a minimum 2-3 cm around the plant to grow out roots. Mine are doing great in their terracotta pots of different sizes. They even stay semi-evergreen which has surprised me as they are deciduous perennials. Enjoy your plants, they’re really beautiful, leaves and flowers 😊🪴🌸
Do you have any recommendations for when the new leaf gets stuck? It seems to be happening to my one on and off and causing it to wrinkle and rip some parts
Love your gardens Wesley!
Thank you so much 😊🙏🏽🌳🌿🪴
Money can buy Happiness 👍🫡
What beautiful foliage & blooms!
I know, it's a joy when they bloom and produce beautiful fruits :-)
Love your little bit of paradise Wesley!
Thank you so much :-)
Love the fence❤
Thank you :-)
So Peaceful ❤
Thanks :-)
That's a beautiful collection. I'm going to head to our local nursey tomorrow and look for rings to wind mine onto.
Thank you. Sounds like a good idea. Enjoy your creations :-)
Hey Wesley! Were you able to get rid of it completely? We're in the process of buying a house and learned that there is knotweed in the garden :)
Hey! We haven't completely got rid of this plant, but we have greatly reduced it. Now we just pluck the few shoots that come up in the borders and the rest is moan down in the lawn. It really is an indestructible plant that takes years upon years to completely eradicate.
