I watch videos like this, checking on available bag packing technologies, and I'm left with the impression that what I'm seeing is IMPOSSIBLY more complicated than necessary for the mission at hand. That insane "custom" vertical conveyor affiar? I'd have a simple 2HP screw drive in about an 8" diameter tube, etc. etc. JUST IMPOSSIBLY MORE COMPLICATED than it needs to be. There are at least a half dozen points in this video where I'd dump the overkill and achieve the same result. Sorry, but anyone seeing this needs to know that such an architecture is probably 5X the necessary cost to get the same result at the same throughput rate. Yes, I'm a registered PE.
