Great video with some very useful tips. Love the rosemary on the napkins I'm going to be using that on my Christmas table this year. I'm going to be converting a small bedroom into a dressing room in 2025, any tips on that would be very much appreciated. Also I have built in wardrobes in another bedroom that are old but great quality and would love to know how I can revamp the doors. We moved into a period property in August and have a few projects for next year. I get a lot of inspiration from your channel. Thank you. Lynne

Hi Geri, so gorgeous, congratulations. What would you do when you have a fireplace but no alcove at either side, just a flat wall in line with fireplace. Alcove units can't be added so just left with tv unit at one side, looks dreary!

Beautiful house and you weren't joking about those high ceilings.😮 Gorgeous. Loved everything in the TV room, so cosy and relaxing and I loved the use of artificial candles so as not to burn the shelves. I loved the fact that you re-used the existing kitchen cabinets. I hate when people rip out good quality cabinets, so painting them gave them a whole new lease of life. The only thing I wasn't keen on were the benches, they are so uncomfortable to sit on as you can't sit back and relax between courses. I think some nice chairs would look much nicer tbh. Also, unlike another commentator, I didn't like the sofa at the table in the sitting room. I think it looked very odd as there are already two other sofas in the room and I suspect it is very low in comparison to the table which would lead to back ache. I'm a bit confused as to how your client entertains as the kitchen table looks better for entertaining but the bench seats look more suitable for children but the other table with a sofa doesnt look right for entertaining either. Maybe they don't have friends round for dinner? Loved the reading room, even though pink is not my thing, but it was beautifully done.

Yes you most definitely need to consider all of those , seat height is fairly standard so keep that in mind when you’re choosing ❤

Little question, when you custom made the couch, did you specify the leg height to get the seating to work with the dining table? I would think cushion softness and leg height would all be factors.

I really enjoyed the video and loved the whole cottage. My fav moment was the laundry sink. You did it so nicely with the marble. I think laundry sinks deserve a beautiful moment as much as we use them.

My opinion of interior designers is that they often go over the top and clutter up spaces. Your design and execution doesn’t do that. I like the simplicity and elegance of the schoolhouse and look forward to future videos. A particular interest was your limestone and marble checkerboard floor. I wonder if the limestone squares will wear faster and stain more than the marble?
