My man!
For the ageing and the party time they or should I say WE did back then, his voice is still in pretty good condition. Rock on Henry. ✌️
I produced Mac McNally back around 1983 as I recall in L.A. in a band called "Heartbreak Kid" that included the ex Exile drummer Bobby Johns. Loved Mac's voice.
Ricky and I grew up together ❤️ 😢 ✨️ 😪 💕 we learned to play guitar 🎸 when we were baby's, circa 1950's when we were just 5 years old ♥️ 🎶 💔 😢
Cool video!
Local legend, not soon forgotten by the people he brought good times to .
Thank you for sharing this!
Sure do miss my life long and forever brother Ricky.!!!❤❤❤😢
wow, amazing singing and a fantastic band
YES !
Thank you for this but it's a real shame that Henry Lee Summer Set was not included in this
I listen to this song every day in my car. You guys should have went global. I saw you back in Indiana when you played at the Culver Military Academy. It was one of my best times. Keep Rocking! and Id really like the tabs to the guitar so we could cover this song in our band down here in the Florida Keys!
I want to meet Henry Lee summer! I want to shake his hand! He is Hoosier loved!
What a great performance by everyone. So tight and so in the groove with everyone. Even the camera crew. What is most amazing to me is how Henry can still control the stage and be a great frontman. Watch his cues with Lee Roy and the others. Just awesome. Henry is so much fun to watch live.
I was there that night-so glad to witness this tribute to RB
I want to meet Henry lee summer! I want to shake his hand! I saw him live when I was 15 years old! I am 49 now! I love his music!
This is absolutely fantastic; thank you for posting!!
Rev Roger Holloway was there 1st drummer I believe , they met at Short High School, Roger went on to DJ at WTLC, then off to Church.
Grew up listening and watching Roadmaster at the Vogue. Great memories of a terrific group.
Awesome evening
Going to Indiana University in the late 70s was magical! What a fantastic era. Roadmaster was a big part of that. Their first album was truly unreal, one of the best albums ever made! Rick Benick was a big influence to me as a guitar player. My favorite track off that incredible album was Sunala Jones!
Sunala Jones beyond classic
@@BarnabyBarry Yep. Love that one!
I have to admit his voice is still awesome just like the original video, crank on
One of the best voices in Rock and Roll! Great musicians in that show!
Henry Lee……always been a fan of yours………
He still got it!
If I was there, I'd be dancing! Love Henry Lee!!
Love roadmaster, lived in Indianapolis for 60 years, now down here in Houston. I still listen to them, and turned way up.
Me too! They're great!
Henry Can Still Sing And Jam On the instruments like he used to back in the day-And of course can’t leave out Leroy-he could jam too
Damn the drugs have did him in…. That’s sad because I’m a huge fan and was there when he came out with hits :(
Being 30 years older might have something to do with it
No (say you wanna be with me,) my favorite. Greatful for what they did though ..
Still loving it...
This band is TIGHT!!!!
Miss you my brother...........
A fabulous band from the 1970s-80s. Loved them during my days at Indiana University and thereafter. Who can sing like Fat Boy do? The MIGHTY Adam Smasher! Thanks so much for doing this and putting it on UA-cam. GREAT memories.
He was the big man!
Wow it sounds great 👍👍👍
Henry Lee sounds great!
Awesome band they rock and definitely have chemistry.
What the hell happened to him? He looks terrible…
Yes, but he can sing. He’s 66 now.
Meth
He's still great
He is fighting drug addiction. Sometimes he is winning sometimes he is not
about 40 years
Mon morceau préféré de Road Master. A fan from France. Great band , 🎸🎸🎸
Grew up listening to Henry Lee! My first concert experience was watching Henry Lee Summer in the summer of 1985! I was only 5 years old 😊. Fun times! Thank you for the awesome music!
RIP Ricky, miss you brother
Miss these guys. Would see them at Nick's at Purdue: 84-88 before the big albums. Became a follower from the beginning following them to fame. Like seeing Ricky, HLS and Michael together again. All that is needed was Mimi Mapes on vocals and Mike Organ on drums..
I sure miss Rick,an amazing guitarist and wonderful guy.
I'm heart broken, was so sad when mac passed, and was trying to find Rick the last couple years we were friends in the 80s and I just cam across this, put tears in my eyes learning Rick has past😪 I hope Michael and Tiny are doing well, Roadmaster will always live in my heart
Love rick!! Huge Roadmaster fan, used to talk on the phone back in the 80s, great guy great musician.. miss ya man, augie augierockstar@gmail.com
