Every story in the Bible can be found in pagan mythology sometimes over a thousand years before the Bible the Greeks version of a virgin impregnated by God and had savior sons ,800 years before Christianity so we saying that God that Almighty copied Greek mythology?

In the last 10 years I have introduced deism to just about every person that I have met and 90% of them had never heard of deism,but we're quick to admit that would be their choice of religion or philosophy. The belief as our creator of the vast universe has a chosen people plants the seed of all envy hate bigotry and hypocrisy God doesn't have a chosen people anymore than he has a chosen fruit or a bird. God didn't give you the winning lottery ticket you bought it God didn't give you the biggest piece of cake today it was your turn in line, do you know why the next dudes a piece of crap? because he's a piece of crap, it doesn't have anything to do with a God or a devil. Deism is what remains of religion once the people realize how bad religious organisations behave. Problem with deism is, it multiplies the most basic problem of organized religion over a million times. There are 6,000 religions on earth today, pretty much all making the same claims, none of them having any evidence, pretty much all of them incompatible with all the others, meaning ifffffff there is a god, anyones chances of believing in the right one are 1 in 6,000. Among 8 bln people on earth there are roughly 6 bln who believe in some kind of god, but without an organisation on top deists all make up their own individual god, and again it's the same story, nobody has any evidence, almost all of them are incompatible with all the others, meaning ifffffff there is a god, anyones chances of believing in the right one are 1 in 6 bln, a million times less likely than under organized religion.

Deism is illogical because it depends upon people to define God, rather than allowing God to define himself via the written word of his representative chosen prophets. There's NO reason to believe in anything - or anyone - whose characteristics are based upon the self appointed understanding, or the lack thereof, of human beings. At the very least ... Deism is FAR more valuable and serviceable than atheism.

Deism is what you are left with if you were raised in a religion and intellectually become secular. The reason is you were thoroughly indoctrinated as a young person. You can't overcome your early development that easily.

Deism...or more commonly referred to as "reality" is and should be the preferred religion. Christianity appeals to Miracles that CANNOT be verified. Ignores the problem of evil. Believe that vicarious sacrifice is a virtue!!!! Homopobic misogynistic and racist! Teach eternal suffering in HELL. No, ill take the Deist God ANY DAY over your god. Who authorised Paul? Trinitarians would rather follow the opinions of a man many thought was a charlatan than the words of Jesus himself. All of which Paul contradicted, quite comedically.

Jesus never knew he was dying for our sins. That whole theory wasn't even developed until decades after his death. Jesus thought he was preaching an apocalyptic message that God was going vanquish his enemies and form a new kingdom on earth. Thus, people ought to prepare for his coming by being more righteous. Jesus and his 12 disciples were to rule that earthly kingdom including its 12 tribal territories. He was not of the belief that people even had separate souls, that also was a concept developed by the Greek philosopher, Plato, much later and integrated into Christianity at least a dozen decades after Jesus died on the cross. People of today wouldn't know this history because its been all mixed together over the 20 centuries of endless editing and rewriting of all scriptures and the creation of confusing edicts changing whole belief systems as ordained by the Catholic Church.

A deist god doesn't DO ANYTHING, HAS NO EFFECT in the world, and thus is suspiciously like something that DOES NOT EXIST!! In this real world, there is absolutely no evidence that any god exists! Books written by anonymous ancients or modern posturers just don't cut it!! For me to give credence to one of them I would have to believe them ALL, and they contradict each other!! And *I* KNOW my imagination far too well to let it talk me into believing a god is trying to talk to me inside of there!! I KNOW I could make up an imaginary god and converse with it!! The imagination does anything you tell it to, THAT'S the problem with it!! If a god existed, it would KNOW FAR better, than any human believer who might claim that I just don't WANT to believe, PRECISELY what could make me believe! And so far, it has EITHER, NOT chosen to do so, OR, IT REALLY DOES NOT EXIST!! IF any god really did exist, EVERYONE would KNOW it did, and as a CERTAINTY!! ---- Nature and Evolution only produces things that can add a part or disable a part randomly to improve the "pseudo-design", and it has NO "design-goal", it does NOT plan ahead, it has NO direction or ultimate desire, it cannot go backward or totally change the design completely like a designer can with conscious overview! Evolution is an unthinking process requiring random copying mistakes in reproduction, and then environmentally caused survival or death to filter out the bad "pseudo-designs"!! Natural Evolution manifests ONLY this simple process of random change surviving or not surviving, and NOT any thinking design by aware overview!! And yet, in stupifyingly enormous amount of deep unfathomable time, it has produced all the ever expanding ever improving sprecies of every animal and plant on earth!! And it did it by killing 99.999% of them!!! ---- You can't disprove god for the exact same reason that you can't disprove something that does not exist!!! There is NO evidence of any god existing or having any effect. Cosmology operates under the laws of physics, no god apparently needed. Genetic Evolution operates under the laws of chemistry, no god apparently needed. ALL lore about gods comes ONLY from human myths and lies. Humans are ALL nasty little dishonest pathological LIARS seeking to manipulate others!! Therefore, NO god can reasonably be believed to exist!! ---- The Universe has a Designer!! The Designer is Mindless Random Chance & Circumstance!! Chance makes the Changes by Error, and Using Nucleic Memory, Circumstance Retains the Improvements in the Successful, and Kills the Failures, which the Successful get to EAT!! I've been saying for months now that most American Agnostics would technically be Deists if they were aware of that belief system. Also Deist here. Much happier living out my little life without constantly having neurotic thoughts about your Judaeo-Christian God.

Deism is the belief in a creator that doesn't intervene. And that's it! The bible is not my text. Christians seem to believe it is the universal truth. No, it's man made, written and interpreted .

Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The darkness of this world in Ephesians 6:12 that the Apostle Paul has to be the same damnation of Hell that Jesus Christ tells us of in Matthew 23:33. And Hell since its called that word damnation being the place of torment it truly is fits the words that is associated with it being death and darkness. Just thinking about the place would make one shudder and tremble with fear and think of it as a nightmarish horrific nightmare. Amen to Grace the only thing that can save us from the stuff that would make one become so lost they would wind up in that place of eternal torment and bring us to the place God wants us to be in His Heavenly Kingdom that is Heaven.
