A full moon rises behind a moving train, and a gorgeous sunset behind some farm silos close it out. Open locomotive doors at 14:50.

A wide variety of freight hits the rails on an early fall day in 2024. Insane wind makes for unstable shots at times. A busier day than usual, especially for a supposed downturned economy. Car with thumbnail image is at 24:08.

Rural trains on the BNSF. Included is the saddest-sounding horn on a CN locomotive I've ever heard - hard to believe it's real.

my prot-freelance DMIR RY. Div. in HO scale THANKS YOU FOR SHARING.
Great! It was wonderful traveling around the "range" seeing this action in person. Although I missed many locations, I was still grateful for what I got. Thanks for your interest.
Great video! Although I'm a Missabe fan I like the BN / BNSF Tac trains too.
Yeah, I don't know what it is about those cute little ore cars. For me, it's the same as with those super-short tank cars that some of us call "beer can" tanks. They look really cool going down the track, especially if there's a string of them together.
Great video Would be more dramatic if camera were higher off the ground. With a darker background above the hoppers. Steam would be more prevalent. A lot of tonnage to be moving at such a high speed. Thx for sharing.
Yeah, I wanted to be higher as well. The location had only a small area with visibility to the tracks, and it was lower than I would like.
That's a nice vantage point!
