I once was attacked by a kraken on a open crew on a tall tale. You see we were doing stars of a thief. We had started sailing past an outpost until we saw a brigantine. I wanted to just leave them be but my crew sought blood. We sailed and stopped next to them. I put up the alliance flag but the second they did my crew started to fire upon their ship. As the battle commenced we sailed ahead of them and my crew were getting ready to board. That was until we heard a roar and the sea around us turned black… The brigantine ground to a halt as many tentacles rose from the water. We fought for our ship and our lives! Meanwhile the brig started firing at our stern. They began boarding… I slashed at a tentacle that had grabbed my ship but when I looked up and saw one of their crew coming at me from the helm. He jumped and landed on my side of the kraken tentacle. We began to sword fight. I never wanted to fight but it was too late. Then as we clashed the kraken dragged my galleon the ‘dogs rose’ (this was during season 7) Down to the depths never to rise again. As my ship was sinking I jumped on a rowboat and ran off. I glanced back at my ship. The stern had began to plunge and the masts snapped and she was dragged under the waves… I looked behind me and on the other side of the rowboat the brig crew member I had fought sat on the boat Then a bang echoed across the waves and the screen went black…

Should've took this opportunity to sink the galleon. Had you took advantage and shot canons at the galleon, no way could they survive both threats - it would've been over and whatever they had would've been yours. Epic fail, in a way.

I actually had a close encounter with the Kraken last night when I was returning to Plunder Island with Briggsy's skull, I was getting close when all of a sudden the water turned black and I started panicking because I was by myself. I fought it with the cannons. I didn't drive it away, but I managed to slowly but surely escape from the Kraken, it was a too close for comfort moment for me

I think the first time I ever got kraken'ed was when I was playing a sloop on like, my second day of playing. I just happened to be looking somewhere else in my room the moment it happened, and all of the sudden the deafening roar of the kraken just comes out of nowhere and I almost shit myself.

I’m aware that this is pirates and stuff but what would win: The Legendary Kraken or the Japanese battleship Yamato?

In all my time playing SoT,which is only about 30 hours 28 solo,I have never encountered the Kraken,I've only encountered a Meg once....and strangely whenever I solo a galleon for some reason I always get caught up in a storm
