Don't watch this video unless you have nothing better to do | Gopro Fusion 360
This video is mainly an exercise for me in order to work out how to use my new camera! It's cool! If you've stumbled across this video trying to work out how to use your GoPro Fusion 360, here's some tips:
1. Stitch your video with GoPro Fusion Studio
2. Edit your 360 footage with Insta360 Studio2024 - 4.9.2. This one doesn't seem to glitch.
3. Further edit your footage on your video editor of choice (I use Adobe Premier Pro CS6)

Hi mate, i have the same bike lol, do you know where you got that seat from and does it use the stock mounts?
@@keahiread4586 hi mate. Sorry, no idea about the seat - it's a cheap ebay looking thing. It does work with some of the stock holes in the frame, but the chances of buying one to fit are slim as my tank also has custom mounts.
@DenwayCC yeah I noted the custom mounts from one of your other videos, did you have to get those certed?
@@keahiread4586 No, I didn't. The 3D printed mounts are not far from original style and the base bolt has only been moved back a couple inches.
wow our place is not much bigger.. never as much room as you want. we are looking at the 360 also. good tips. cant wait to see on bike action. happy hunting dude mike from Geist Wulf Cycles
Cheers mate. Yeah - was a good buy. I'm looking forward to putting it in the bike. Shortest day has just passed down our end, so shouldn't be long now. 'Workshop' is good enough for me. Can always be bigger, but you work with your size. We all know it. 😁

Awesome work
Thanks mate!
Looked like a nice run. When looking back where do you mount the cam?. I like the view I want to try that.We are a bunch of noobs at this should be a IOI till we get it right Ride safe dudes Geist Wulf Cycle Werks
It was a very slow run with the amount of bikes. I have a camera under my engine mount on the CX, and one on the front shock for the RD. These ones work well. Money talks though - we are using Go Pro 3's and I have a 4 on my helmet, but nicer cameras do a way better job. It's way easier for me to edit with the 4 as the footage is higher resolution and the go pro footage seems more stable. I have seen what the most recent go pro 10's can do, and a 360 camera is even better. Might be something to save up for, but if you are buying one definitely try for a nice camera. 😁
@@DenwayCC Thank you very much for the real world view on this I can not ,ever get good pointers on this. Again thank you from me and the boys. Geist Wulf
Hi - If you've come here and watched this video and realized: Holy crap those welds suck. Well, you'd be right. I've come back here to look and realized the same. What CX model and year do these footrest come on?
Hi Lucas. I've built the bike from an 82gl400 custom and 79CX500, but I'm not sure what parts were original on either bikes as they were both Frankenstein bikes.
@@DenwayCC thanks for the reply, I will check around on the e web.....I'm currently building a 83 CX 500 cafe racer

nice work. i like the gear lever and the idea with the bearing. very cool

Bro you cannot just show us and made us not hear it!
Haha, it's in there mate. Before I wrap them 😁
Good to see some progress on the CX! Nice work
Thanks mate! I'm thinking some rear sets are the next thing. Maybe a new seat.
Mate, that looks sick, glad to see the mix of every bike. I had I chance at a cub 50, it was a non runner that I pushed from lyall bay to Houghton, then it sat around cause I had no money or clue and I gave it away. 😂😢
oh man! I want a cub 50 so bad.
you are so fortunate to live in New Zealand
We certainly are. Where are you from?
Can you explain the tools used? I want to clean/polish my engine, forks, etc like this. I have a drill. What are the wire brush attachments, do they come in different hardnesses? And what's the name of the polish you used? Thanks.
Hi there mate, I used a combination of autosol aluminium polish, brass wire wheel, scouring polish wheel and a lot of elbow grease, patience and time. Things similar to this www.supercheapauto.co.nz/p/toolpro-toolpro-cotton-polishing-cones-medium-assorted/386606.html?cgid=SCN01011102
scouring pads are a great help for getting the grime off also.
@@DenwayCC Thanks!
mate do you clear coat any of that bare metal?
Yeah, I put a bunch of clear on the tank, but I haven't put clear on the aluminium. I expect I may get some aluminium oxide
yo, what stator did you use? rather where did you pick it up? I've just bought a cx400c project like an idiot. :)
Hey there mate. I bought my stator from RMstator, which is a company in Canada. I purchased on a local website, and I can't see any items listed anymore. Here's their website rmstator.com/en_us/ Good luck with your build, dude. I learnt heaps.
Enzo!
@@DenwayCC Yup! funny eh? just picked it up from whanganui today. its gunna need a bit, first up grey oil ! :( So im not hassling you constantly, what forums did you lurk in so i can re read your stuff ? CX500forum?
@@PointyLittleStick I used facebook a lot - CX/GL500/650 community and Honda CX500/650 V twins. One of them is based around NZ, so very handy. Motofaction.org are very good for sorting out issues. If I had to give you somewhere to start, I recommend completing a 'triple bypass' on the bike. motofaction.org/motorcycles/honda-cx-gl/triple-quadruple-bypass-parts-list-cx500-gl500-cx650-gl650/
I hope you're well!
Mint video. Good to see what I'm getting into.
Thanks mate! Good luck with your build!
Hey where did you get the seat?
Hey mate - looks to be a standard Amazon, ebay style seat. My tank mounts are slightly modified so it fits well. When I head out to the garage in the evening I'll find you the brand 😁👌
That’s not a rebuilt, take them apart, clean the parts and put them back together without change anything (primary jet, secondary, slow, needle jet, jet needle, cut off valves, o-rings, etc.
I pulled them apart. All the jets etc, then rebuilt them? 🤷♂️
@@DenwayCC I know you did the job, but why didn’t replace anything?and the title says “first start”????
@@carlosgooglemaps94 why replace something that doesn't need replacing? I also did replace the idle jet and an oring from a second set of carbs I had. If you watch the video you can see the first start since stator change and since putting engine back in frame.
@@DenwayCC my mistake!, I see you started the bike now, don’t get me wrong, I love the bike 👍🏻
Here I am looking for cx400 stator issues and you guys come up, of course. Good to know, and that bikes looking sweet!
Yeah, sorry you have an issue, but it's a pretty easy fix. The bike is running very well now!
Do you know the best websites to get parts for a honda cx400/gl400 ?
Hi mate. It would depend where you are in the world. I always keep an eye out on Facebook marketplace for wrecked CX's, but if you're looking for some aftermarket parts MurraysCarbs do some good stuff. The CX will share a few parts with CB's from the same era too - so consider that. There are a lot of CX forums around too.
Why moccasins?
Why anything?
@@DenwayCC true. But moccasins and motorcycles seems a bit odd. Most riders wear boots instead of soft soled moccasins
@@larsrapunzel2297 so what is your point??, he is not riding, just working on the bike, no need to wear boots when you are off the bike, isn’t it??

Hey man, did you get the DT back together?! Restoring a '74 DT250 of my own and keen to see what else you did.
Hey! Yes we did! Check out our Instagram. Was a busy year for us and not much more of the build got filmed unfortunately. What would you like to see? Cheers DCC.
Hey mate - Halden did. The video is uploaded on the channel. If you've got any questions flick us a message on instagram! :) (Sorry for the late reply)
What did you spray on the plastic there to bring back the finish?
Hi Ken. I spayed a bit of silicon spray onto it. It more than likely won't last too long, but with 40 years of sunfade it's probably the best outcome.
Mate that rear wheel looks 100x better nice work and those damn engines aren’t light are they haha
Not at all, man. Thanks for ye comment!
