respected sir, with all due respect to you, I would like to point to you that, you admire MK Gandhi, who called Shivaji Maharaj as a mis-guided patriot. by the way, Ramachandra Guha [who wrote excellent biography of Gandhi] is also a staunch follower of MK Gandhi. haaha!

I initially thought, "why should you speak in english about Shiwaji Maharaj?" however, i realized your wisdome in doing so, as the great man, and his vision will reach even the non-maharashtra audience as well.

I absolutely hate Mughals, Sultans, and Goras for their brutality. but even in Maratha empire there were people like Bhaskar Pandit who committed brutalities on even small children just to recover taxes from other states. in the novel "panipat" by another IAS officer Shri Vishwas patil, he reveals that, many such states looked at the battle of Panipat as an opportunity to teach lessons to Marathas. another fact is that, Marathas, even after demise of Shivaji maharaj and Sambhaji Maharaj, could have finished Mughal empire, however, the king in those days ordered peshwas not to do so.

Hello Sir. I'm your student already. Currently doing self study for upsc. My question was, 1) currently in Maharashtra everywhere Maratha, Dhangar and Muslim reservation agitations are going on. Government already gave to Marathas 10%. Is this only political stunt by any particular party for commence of upcoming elections in state assembly ? Whats your stand or opinion on this how's this constitutionally right. 2) BJP wants 400+ seats and there one discussion is being held between people that BJP led government will change the constitution. Is it really possible? Is there any need? If yes what kind of changes should be required as per your knowledge?
