Welcome to my archery gear review channel (andrebragaarcher)
very accurate demonstration...
I liked all your 3 videos. Very well explained without going too fast. How is it going, one year later? 😊
Compared to some others barebow dedicated risers, I find this way more versatile and at a very good price point
I might suggest a higher-resolution camera and dual offset lights. Good initial detail on opening a box presentation.
I had a WNS riser that made the CRACK sound and it never went away by tuning or tightening anything. I had to put some dampeners on it to get rid of it. Not that big a deal really. I tried limbsavers, but I found the bowjax worked better. I only put dampeners on the riser, not the limbs (to keep my arrow speed up) or the string (illegal for barebow competitions, but they really work). Good luck.
Hi, thank you for sharing this video. I'm really interested in this smoke color riser. In your first video introducing this riser the smoke color looks a little bit blueish what I like really much. In this actual video it looks more grey. Did this blueish look depends on the camera or the light you use in your first video? Thanks again for this interesting video!
can it be used for normal olympic too? Or is it only for barebows?
Spignareli Zero Tolerance (ZT) rest
I have a Hoyt Gold Medalist that was unbelievably loud to my ears when I first started shooting it. Teflon taped threads, string silencers and Limbsavers helped, but it still sounded like your bow does in this video. One day I made a 16 stand String (I'd been shooting 14 strands), and those 2 extra strands made all the difference. The bare 16 strand string was quieter than the 14 strand with Paracord silencers. My point is this: there is a variable with this riser that is different than what you're used to. Once you find that detail you'll be in business. I'd start by adding Teflon Tape to the weights on the bottom of the riser to eliminate any potential vibration.
Hey man, good video! What BRAND are the weights that goes in the gillo disk holes?
I shoot with spigarelli z/t rest (and Hoyt carbon integra limbs). No problems no bad sounds
Gabrial bidrop rest is good for stringwalking.
Thank you for your video. I'm waiting for the continuation. Good luck and good health to you.
Thank you. This is very helpful.
Try a NAP flipper rest been around for years. Easy to centershot, and like shooting a fall away rest. I think you’ll like it.
I just got the grey one, awesome barebow...
If you’re looking to quiet your bow a tad bit more quieter, try some limb dampeners, and some bowjax string silencers. I have those same limbs on my Spiga BB25, and the results are a very nice dampened thump of a sound, almost like a silencer. Very satisfying sound, with no adverse affect on performance, and accuracy 😇🙏🏹🏹👍
Thanks for the advice! I am a bit obssessed about the sound the bow makes...
I have a set of longs on a 19" riser giving me a 64" AMO. They are extremely smooth. 1.25# weight gain from 28-29". They really help me when using the feather to the nose technique. Nice video. I agree with your evaluation and appreciate your enthusiasm.
1.25# gain is almost nothing... Yep, super smooth. I'm loving these Uukhas. Cheers!
You need more weight :D, I added 700G to mine it leveled perfectly I shoot #32 OTF only indoor with the riser, for outdoor I use my old decut rhino
Yes, i could try more weight... Wouldn't hurt to try. Thanks for your feedback. Cheers!
It's not possible that your String hits the back of the Rest. You would have hit the back of your Thumb first.
What you are saying makes sense. I tried a stick on rest and most of the noise remains.. . Now i'm thinking i could have a miss alignment. I'll put the zniper again and try other things when i can find some time. Thanks for your input!
i only use the zniper for indoor now since it's a royal pain in the ass at the best of times. other then that i use the gabriel arrowrests, GUX III is great and i'll be trying out the bidrop aswell for next outdoor season. The zniper is somewhat reliable when shooting 23's, but it has serious issues with heavy microdiameter arrows. As for uukha, it's best to follow their guidelines af using an 8125 string with uukha compatible endloops (those are smaller then regular ones), some string manufacturers have this in their options, others need to be contacted. Essentially you want a generous amount of string groove or the string will slap onto the limb (start with 20mm just to be on the safe side), uukha brace heights are for their risers only, for a vygo it might be 5mm higher as far as i remember.
Hi! Thanks for your input. The string is 8125 with small loops indeed. I tried a stick on rest but the noise did not improve much. I'm putting the zniper back on and look at what you said. Thanks again.
I'm shooting this riser with shockingly bad limbs. For 50m I'd have to aim for the sky, despite having a peak draw weight at 41. 😅 My arrow rest is a spigarelli and I have no noise issues apart from the limbs going pjoooing.
Hey! At 41# it sure is strange to aim so high... I used another rest and still have some noise, so i'm thinking maybe i have a miss alignment... Loving the stability of the riser!
@@andre.braga.archer What's your brace height? Mine is 22 cm. When I was shooting another barebow I borrowed, the bow even slapped my wrist/hand every single shot. That brace height was well below. As for the riser, it's my first one so I can only compare with club kit and kit I've borrowed. It's much better than club kit and comparable with another BB riser that is more than double the price.
On the videos is set at 21.8mm, but i'm still searching and trying other brace heights. Not set in stone yet 😀
I've got the same riser. It's excellent.
😂 promosm
Nice I ordered the same ones ! Just waiting for me to pick them up
Cool! I think you'll love them! Let´s keep in touch and maybe share thoughts in regards to setup.
It sounds pretty strong at 38#... Have you tried your Spigarelli ZT yet ? There could be more clearance and i noticed a few archers are using it on their Vyygo riser. To the look of it you were shooting quite far like 25 or 50m... Great video Andre i can't wait to get mine 🙂
I was shooting at 50m. My spigarelli zt is on loan but i'll try it when i get it back. Thanks for the feedback 👍
I found that My Sx50 makes the arrow weaker. And they are so damn fast.
😀 Despite some setup issues that can be overcome, i'm loving the Uukhas...
@@andre.braga.archer i'm using 70" #38 22cm BH easton avance sp600 29" 100 grain points and pin nocks. Tiller neutral.
Nice!! I'm at 68" 36#. I'm still testing arrows but i think i'll get 700 spine vap elite with 100 grain points cut at 28". Neutral tiller as well
👍 promising setup. only "complaint" i have: the zniper uses metric hardware. imperial allen keys kinda fit but might round the set screw.
Indeed. I tend to use an imperial allen key set, in order to not have a bunch of loose keys, but the screw is a bit rounded by now.
Thanks for the review brother this is my next riser 100% 👍🏾 Please make a video while shooting it with your Uukha limbs 🙂
Hey! Thanks for the feedback. I'm already working on a shooting video. Stay tuned!
Hi does the manual recommend a brace height and/or what brace height do you use 🙏🏻?
Thanks for sharing brother these are awesome limbs 👍🏾
You bet
dear, Super~ splendid view,;))
