Arua Organic Agri Training Center aims for training small scale farmers in Good Agricultural Practices - soil conservation, water conservation, cultural practices, mulching, composting, green manure, cover plants, pest & diseases management, animal feed production, value addition to several crops, herbs & spices and many more aspects related to over 35 different crops all well adapted in Uganda and Grand Lake Region.
Fall Army Worm Control with bait - 100% Control
Fall Army Worm (Spodoptera frugiperda) is causing sever losses in several crops, especially in Maize, affecting food security in many countries. Pesticide sales-men are enjoying and selling off pesticides, no matter if they're effective or not, if dangerous or not, and controls are minimum. Unfortunately these sprayings are killing their natural enemies. An adult moth can fly up to 100km per night; in her life time lays over 1,500eggs feeding on over 80 known crops here in Africa. This pest's amazing abilities makes it very difficult to control. Preparing and applying bait with local ingredients is the best option for small scale farmers. Watch the video and apply it on your maize and in 8 hours, the worms will be dead while their natural enemies will survive.

i think its just water where u mix the 25ml of chemical... but they did'nt say how much water are you going to use for the 25ml chemical...

Instead sugar can mix jaggery in🇮🇳

Which chemical have you added?
Yakubu, we used a commercial product with the name of "Dudu-Acelamectin 5%" and the Active Ingredients are: Abamectine 2% + Acetamiprid 3%. Any other chemical recommended to control worms and caterpillars will work. The secret in this formula is that the worm will be attracted by the bait, combination of maize flour plus sugar.
