This happened to me, it doesn't mean that it's a general issue. However, in my collecting experience, it might be something else, maybe the other knee, maybe a hip joint, maybe an elbow. Usually qc issues like this means sloppy work. Take MAFEX for Mezco for example, or amazing Yamaguchi. There are entire lines of figure with a wide variety of qc issues:bicep swivel stuck or too lose on mezco conan the barbarian, or mafex jl flash, sloppy paint work on dome mafex reissues.

I just bought it to own a Guts with out full armor, but to tell you the truth, I'm most likely going to try and sell it. It looks like a cheap knock off. The paint job on the face is really bad, and that's mainly the reason I got it. The tattoo is beautiful, but the face looks like I've ordered it from Aliexpress.

There's a figma version. I never had it, but it's not bad.

@@ZenReviewZfigma version is really good. Little dated articulation and the cape is bad, but the figure is really good quality. I have the Figma black swordsman and it was my favorite figure before I got the shf berserker armor figure

@@noahwright3519 my gripe with figma is the size. I mostly collect Mezcos, Mafex and Yamaguchies atm and Figmas are really small. I hope Yamaguchi or Mezco makes a Guts, that would be awesome. If mezco would do it, probably they will f. up something, I'm absolutely sure, but the accessories would be insane.

@@ZenReviewZ I’ve got 4 figures in total and they’re all figma or shf so size isn’t an issue for me lol. But I could see that.

Mine did not came loose, but the weight sometimes, and the way they're engineered makes the joints come off from the socket, which is really annoying. But it's a great figure no doubt.

I'm pretty sure it's the reissue, cause I've bought it from hobbygenki.com and they are as legit as it comes. I think you can also find it on plazajapan.com, but buy it only if you really want a Guts version in your collection. It has a lot of minuses for a "reissue"

@@ZenReviewZ The Reissue comes with the Zodd card and the box is slightly different shade of red.

Both 😂😂. Both of them are really cool versions of the characters. I think the Mezco flash is my favourite, but, the yamaguchi is a more modern interpretation, so you're safe with both Flash, if you decide to have them. The reverse flash however, that's a different story, I think it's the best out there. It's up to you how you pull the trigger.

That's exactly the principle I went on too! Looks like they've fixed the hands issue, but added others 😂😂, or just mine is messed up.

Oooh, I see. No chance that rug would stay there... The chin guard was too loose.

Yep, and the hands are really hard to put on, it's really annoying, because it leads to making the wrist peg loose.

I think the 1st edition had a better paint job, but same articulation issues. I guess they've just bad at choosing soft goods. And painting 😅

This is one gem of a figure, no doubt. Except the scratch on the chest, no qc issues. The song if I recall correctly was Arpege - Tony Anderson. Because of copyright claim some parts were cut off by UA-cam 😔

Yeah, I totally understand, I guess it's not a must have figure. For me, anything that it's Batman related I have to see it and decide if it's a keeper or not. The price tag for the mezco figure and muff kit surpasses 200 euro unfortunately. But this is so far my definitive Fappinson Batman.

@@ZenReviewZ The only live action Batman figure that Mezco made very well is the Batfleck. They botched the 89 and this one has three main flaws(no neck,Big head, short legs). So l think other companies like Manipple or even inart will do better. Mezco announced the Batman Bale so let's wait maybe they will make it right.

@@Poupipoupi-bw2bl it does at first, but now I kind of like it. It reminds me of the scene when "Patman" enters the crime scene in the beginning of the movie. Of course, I don't have the McFarlane muff toys version to make a comparison, but I like this one, so I'll settle with it.

Apart from the knees... Mine is falling apart, as you can see in the video. After 3 years the Mezco is still in the same shape. I hate the Mezco female body buck, but the disappointment from the Yamaguchi Catwoman is even worse. I will stay away from Yamaguchi's supergirl. Unless it's cheaper than a custom.

I wish the articulation would have been better and the thighs a little more muscular. But that's just me. 😁

Most likely. From the photos and videos I've seen, the 1st release has much better paint... This reissue is all sorts of wrong.

Unfortunately I don't have that one. This is one of the reason I've bought this release and I'm glad I did. I'm thinking of swapping the body buck with one smaller and thinner to be more in scale with the rest of the 1/12. So from that point of view I definitely think they've messed up.

Same here. It's really a pain, and I'm always worried the wrists will snap.

@@ZenReviewZ Yeah, it's definitely a concern given how much force is required to remove them. I've used a little bit of Silicone Shock Oil to help. I've not tried a hairdryer for that particular figure but it's another good option. I forgot to mention that I was surprised that you were unable to remove the cloak. It may be that they're applying glue for a more recent run, as I've had mine for about three years, but mine was not glued at all and came off easily. I've seen others that friends had where it came right off as well.

That is a fine choice. You can also stay on the hunt for people who sell their Mezcos cheap. But the Revoltech will be on my list too.

Everything is getting more and more expensive. Only the salaries are getting cheaper. 😂😂 I guess they've just adapted too. If you get the Manipple Superman body you'll get about 4 pairs of hands if I recall correctly.
