I really enjoyed it. I felt the characters were well developed and even the smallest characters felt real to me and I felt for their situation. I can't wait for the next book! I followed it easily, which I usually don't, and the actions scenes were easy for me to imagine.
Just finished this book ..meh!! I couldn't connect with Caspian Anderson. Certainly no deep dive on any of the characters what really put me off was the ending he kills his boss while she is out walking her dog..she knows what's coming and ties up her dog so he won't jump after her as she falls off a cliff. Our hero just walks away...leaving the dog tied to the railing. Right there he has no heart.
This book seems very divisive and exceptionally misleading.... I'm black before anyone tries to accuse me of "evil white racism".
