Utilising a rich tapestry of sampled sounds, and an eclectic mix of Gqom from Durban, Soul and Breaks, Mikka delivered a captivating set showcasing incredible creativity and energy.

Legendary NYC-based DJ/Producer DJ Swisha came through to the studio during his Australia/NZ tour, performing an electrifying set that blended a range of genres including Jungle, Jersey Club and Footwork. Weaving through nuanced selections with seamless transitions, Swisha delivered one of the best sets of the year. Huge shoutout to DJ Swisha for coming on the show, such a special night.

For her return to the studio, Eora/Sydney artist Yasmina Sadiki was accompanied by a flawless instrumental backing, performing both “Gift of Life” and “Keep You” in the Eastside Studios. With the help of incredible musicians River Langford (percussion), Marley Tupou (keys), Lorenzo Benatiro (guitar) and Ally McMahon (bass guitar), Yasmina once again exhibited her undeniable talent and creativity.

Whilst on tour with Agungo Mango, Melbourne-based R&B/Soul singer Sjay came through to the studio to perform a sneak peak of an unreleased track titled ‘Someone Else’. With the help of musicians Krishna Kanhaiya Dasa (drum machine), Anak Agung Made Jaya Parwata (bass guitar), Anthony Farrugia (guitar) and Oscar Veliks (guitar), Sjay delivered an incredible live performance in the Eastside Studios.

We had the privilege of welcoming Melbourne based DJ and Artist RAY OTW to the studio for our latest set. RAY played an eclectic mix of mainly Hip-Hop selects, ranging from hard-hitting trap joints to underground gems featuring some of Australia's most talented lyricists.
