@@HungrySnake i didn't do it to bypass anything. There were no quality issues. I did it this way because i didn't want to run obs, or any other program on my gaming pc. I wanted 100% of my pc's power to be able to go to my game. I'm not sure about static, as that's never an issue I had much. When I did it was usually a physical connection getting interference. I've now moved away from using any elgato products aside from my steam deck, as I found them incredibly unstable in general, and adding filters to my old blue yeti resulted in far better audio quality. Miss the clip guard, but it's a small price to pay for things actually working without having to mess with them every day.

@@HungrySnake in terms of routing audio to multiple places, i use voicemeetr banana (free and never any stability issues) on my gaming pc (minimal overhead) to route the audio to both my headset and the capture card.

I'm enjoying the game play a lot. I find the writing and some of the voice acting to be a bit.. meh. But maybe it was a lot better in the original dub

I'd definitely recommend this game, though it's not the easiest on an out of date PC. In terms of gameplay, it's kind of like a mix of Valheim, Minecraft, and mild souls-like combat. Definitely scratches a lot of itches at once!

@@jaw_1594 oh, as a bit of a pyromaniac i fully plan to make use of explosive arrows. Once i am able to make them, haha

@@jamafrican657 we think a cat hair was stuck in the sensor. Took several blastings with compressed air, but might finally be mostly fixed.

@@justsoupc thanks! Yeah, and I'm playing on survival as well, so i learned about enemy difficulty pretty quickly, haha. Hoping to get to some more today love here and on twitch.

It's a LOT of fun. I don't know if I could call it my favourite! Horizon games are still probably some of my favourite of all time, probably right at the top for post-apocalypse!

I actually haven't ever seen any of the movies! It's made it's way to the top of the list, and I'll be watching them soon, starting with the first trilogy!

Gotta see the movies still. Just finished the game though and lore holes and all, it was VERY enjoyable!

I just got caught up to the end of the story so far and... WOW! is all I have to say. I can't wait to see what happens next. I know me and my community are hoping for a few things. Way too many thoughts for a comment here, but to say I'm eager for the story to continue is an understatement!

This tutorial is specifically for using the wavelink on the streaming pc, as you used to not be able to select your capture card as an input device. This has technically been fixed, but I'm leaving the videos in case they are useful to others. If you are using the mic on your gaming pc, these work around won't apply. Elgato originally essentially said the only way was to use it on the gaming pc, so I'm sure they'll have some resources to help with setup. I wanted the mic on my streaming pc in order to filter audio like OBS, music, discord, etc that I didn't want taking resources on my gaming pc. I'm not as familiar with running all that on the gaming pc.

@@cdnKrimsonkitty i am using one pc stream setup right now. But i have frametime spikes when i stream. İm okay with discord, chrome app, spotify and wavelink app. They dont bother at all. İ just want to use my laptop as stream pc. İs it do-able in theory?

@@gokstheplays depends on your laptop's specs. Most capture cards have minimum requirements in terms of video cards so it's hard to say. I used a gaming laptop as my streaming pc for a while. A lot of the games I was really looking forward to I've already played through. Horizon Forbidden West (Stream vods of the playthrough are on my channel) was the BIG one for this year. I tend to go into games completely blind, without looking up as much as possible. I'm looking forward to Forespoken though, and there's another I can't recall the name of at the moment. All I know, is you are essentially a gunslinging mage with fire, in the teaser I saw. That's all I need to know! Then I'm looking forward to finally getting to play through the Nier series, Kingdom Hearts 3, and Immortals Fenyx Rising, which I know are older games, but I haven't played them yet. If you ever hang out on Twitch, you should come by and we can chat games. Check out my two tutorial videos. Unless you are meaning a way to get it to show as an audio source. There is none. The hardware and software apparently doesn't allow it, unless elgato has found a way, but I've just been using the method in the updated tutorial, and it works.
