По моему результат был очевиден сразу 😂
I was told after I should of used 8 tea lights at least. lol
I've been telling people for years when they are going to buy a new AC, or complain theirs isn't working like it should- "WASH IT" I don't go to this extent, I usually only use a power washer, but will do more if needed. But finally! Someone else saying it. Haha.
Thanks man! It was a total test and a pain to put back together but revealed how serious it is to clean these things!
You could use 6 tea lites in each tin
Yah! I'm gonna try a 6 to 9 hour candle next also!
Love ur videos thank you
Thanks snow much! Hehe
We have those fairy lights, the cheap battery ones - perfect for that general light that doesn't ask for detail work, but enough light you can move around freely and do most nonprecision things + Makita lights and projectors (we use them at work, so we have them) and they have also the adapter to charge your USB connected things. One battery lasts me about 2 weeks of 3-4 hour use per day or 3-4 8 hour uses. The rest is common sense - candles, thick blankets, wood fireplace with cooking area, portable gas cooker, buckets for water, which we fill when we see lights start playing. Oh, and if we suspect a longer outage on it's way - food that only needs heating up unless slow cooking something.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!! I really enjoyed reading it.
Thanks
You're super welcome!
This year, I have bought lights that work with my power tool batteries, and I have 10 or 12 batteries, so I will always have tons of light. But I also have several battery-operated Christmas tree light strings and tap lights and USB charged lanterns and flashlights and battery-operated lanterns and flashlights. Plus, cell phone and TV for more light. Heat is really the harder part.
I completely agree. I just did a below zero test with the clay pot and tea lights I'm gonna share results.
@ Looking forward to it.
I am surprised you start with candles in Canada. For light or heat? We have multi-fuel generators and Mr. Buddy propane heaters and I do have 2 solar power stations. After that, I have camp stoves with alcohol fuel and then sterno cans. Then it would be candles. But I don't think of them as being able to heat the house enough and they aren't as good as lanterns for light.
I use candles for light only in a power outage, they do not provide much heat.
I love my ECOFLOW adventure power battery also!!
I start with rechargeable light bulbs in lamps in each room and the basement. Those stay on for 3 hours after the power goes out and those 3 hours are when you need to gather everything else.
Thanks for sharing this! I have to see these rechargeable light bulbs.
Great ideas very useful.Thanks
Anytime!! And thank you.
This is so benefical for Ontario Canada!
You know it! You must be very skilled at the outdoors. ;)-

It's a beautiful trail, its only a few kilometers around so it can be done in a couple hours but it is pretty rugged.
