Love it! Especially her backwards leg weaves!! Hugs to the Golden Oldie too, so hard to realize River's not still a spunky puppy <3
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼amazing ❤
Where are you located
Apaka happy naman ng baby mario na yarn♥♥♥
Most of the time I have found the discomfort is because the friction creates HEAT which the dog can feel in the quick.
Omg. The sweetiesttttt. What a good girl.
What a good doggo
The cuteness quotient is high in your dog! :) Its fun to watch how much she likes to work with you . Nice job!
Oh River & mom, what a fun celebration of love!
Great ideas and good teamwork by the two of you!

Funny game for dog :) Is it easy to learn a dog play such game?
I love the positive way you talk to Victor. As a dog lover and artist, may I share my cartoon “ Runaway Dinner” with you?
Very interesting watching you shape his behavior and even see how you guided him "up" when he had given up. I wonder why you did not name the behavior once he had done it? Very interesting. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Dr Donna K Buechler Thank you for your comment and great observations! Are you a dog trainer? You are right that I cued the "up" because he was starting to get frustrated and loose motivation so I gave him some help. As for naming the behaviors River already knows "up light" and "up switch". We were using shaping as a fun game to get him thinking and problem solving. I find it is a great snowy day activity and a good way to tire him out in general. We are going to get more into free shaping in the future and hopefully teach some complex tricks with it that he doesn't know. He does know quite a few tricks so far. You can check out some of his other videos if you would like. He has tricks starting from 6 months when I first got him.
Congrats Trick Dog Champion River! I love the 5 tricks at the end. The Limp is excellent, and so is the ball up the stairs. Great job!
What a good boy!
love it : )
Renee Marie Johnson Thank you, glad you enjoyed River's video!
My dog got frustrated and looked and started barking at me when I tried this. She is not used to using her face so she tries using her feet, what should I do
Try standing up and using movement (backing up) to keep her from using her feet. Reward her for any kind of touch with her nose to any object or just get her to touch your hand. You can keep treats in your hand to entice her. Also you can teach her to touch a target stick and just get her to realize that using her nose is a good idea.
Thx she has already mastered the lights trick (turning on and off) she I now learning how to bow
Thank you! We have lots of fun together during training time! We enjoyed the A. I. R. event!
I love River! And you are so very sweet to him. I am sorry I missed meeting you last weekend, thank you for participating. You both are awesome!
I agree! He was way too excited, but he was having tons of fun!
He really was trying :)
I think he may have been the tiniest bit exited.......... He is
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah, I'm not sure what goes through Donovan's head, but it sure is an interesting eating style.
Very interesting! Poodles are highly intelligent, so maybe it makes sense to him! Who knows!
He was just over 6 months in this video. He is almost 3 1/2 years old now!
Aww so cute the way that do the stuff
How old is your River at the time of this video? My SDiT (or rather, Service Puppy In Training) is also a Golden Retriever named River--only she's female. :)
