Using evasion on Succ Nova is generally NOT recommended for PVP because she has low base evasion and no self-buffs to bolster it. Additionally, most Eva sets would have you forgo Accuracy gloves in favour of the Evasion version, so you are losing out on being able to land hits in favour for a small bump on Eva (most would agree this is not a good tradeoff). Given that Succ has no accuracy self buffs or eva shred outside of addons (which every class has), in many cases you will find you loose too much accuracy and don't gain enough tankyness with the eva. That said, the same applies to PVE but may not matter as much depending on where you grind. The need for tankiness or heavier accuracy may not be needed in some spots and you could be totally fine. Alternatively, if you have other accessories to compensate (ex. lunar necklace) for the lack of accuracy, you may also be fine. Your best option is to tag it and see for yourself, but you can also use garmoth.com to check some stats like hitrate based on your gear. Hope that helps!

I agree, and I think maybe you're looking at the wrong build/link? The Garmoth link I have added the the video description has multiple gear build options, but even the low tier build has 1100k evasion stat. As for HP, stacking is done through HP-focused accessories + the upgrade cups, as well as hp-focused crystals, artifacts and consumables. Hope that helps!

Generally yes, I think she offers a good mix of a slower sturdier play style with her succession specialization, vs her much faster glass cannon style with her awakening. This would likely help you know what kinds of gameplay you'd enjoy! Even if you choose not to stick with her long term, this would give you experience with 2 very different styles of combat which could make choosing a different class easier. I regardless of what you choose, you should always get your class to at least level 60 before making a decision as to whether you want to stick with it or not. Prior to this level, you are missing a lot of skills which can dramatically change the feeling and gameplay of the class. For Nova in particular, I personally was not sold on the pre-awakened gameplay, but once I unlocked succession it was a lot more enjoyable! I've been playing since launch so I've accumulated a lot over 7 years. I do grind casually when my guild owns castle and there's events active, or if grinding is the only way to get an item (ex. flame of despair). I am fairly frugal when it comes to spending silver in the game as well, so I don't make purchases without careful consideration. Outside of that, taking advantage of events, seasons, enhancing, life skills keeps my silver income steady and the odd swipe when the pearly shop has 50% off sales helps with the big enhancements.

So far I haven't done any 'uncapped' PVP content so I cant say how my DR built will feel. That said, my Nova's HP build has worked pretty well!

@@Lyantha do u mind linking ur garmoth gear? Ive been on my ranger for 4 years and i hate how squishy I am, ive always thought about rerolling to smth tankier, eva kuno hash or maybe nova or shai. its honestly such a stress having reroll fever

Happy to help! Currently in the game, there is no true 'support' class outside of Shai. Every class has the ability to do damage alongside some other thing that makes them unique. That said, the Succession spec leans more towards CC/Defence then she does 'attack'. That isn't to say she can't kill players or monsters, but other classes will do that faster and more easily. Where she does well is setting up CC's for other players, pushing damage while staying protected from most CC's and blocking players with her ice wall. She can be difficult for other players to kill (especially if they don't have a grab) if she is geared appropriately and supported by allies. Assuming you mean animation cancelling, I don't have a video for that, but I would check out ua-cam.com/video/LOI0vFsLwak/v-deo.html as it has some combo's which are still relevant today :)

This guide is for PC (not mobile) so I can't speak to any difference in mechanics or playstyles. Just by look and feel though, succession Nova does fit the 'tank' class style :)

Succession is unfortunately below average, especially in places which require pack-to-pack mobility. That said, awakening is significantly better in all aspects of PVE and is generally considered to be one of the better grinders in the game. Hope this helps!

Its a level 56 skill, but you need to have unlocked succession first. I'm not sure on the controls for PS4, sorry!

For both PVE and PVP she's pretty easy and fun to pick up the basics, as her combos are fairly straightforward and not too long. For PVP specifically, she can be more difficult due to gear and learning positioning. That said, node wars and siege in the game have recently changed to introduce more gear caps, which should help with the gear issue if you are just starting out! The rest is just practice :)

As for PVE, I don't grind very much these days so I havent really done anything there yet.
