Hey dude i get why u think this isn't a final fantasy game like the title suggests. It is a very whiplash inducing game especially if u just played FFX. It's what we all thought at the time. But if i'm remembering this correctly, this was like right after the merger between squaresoft & enix & they wanted to capitalize on FFX success cuz final fantasy never had like direct sequels before. But if i'm being honest i rly loved the job-inspired sphere thingy where they changed clothes & stuff (for obvious reasons & i actually did enjoy it, forgot it's name tho). That's pretty much all i liked about the game but i had "the ff curse" where u have to play every final fantasy game just cuz they're "final fantasies". Anyways hope u somehow have fun with the game & cheers from Egypt. Edit: i wrote all that & i haven't even watched the video yet... I'm waiting to see that emotional whiplash u'll get from the intro lol... Edit 2: Yep... Just what i expected lol... But yeah the music is always good in final fantasy games. And yeah another thing i wanted to add... Rikku is in the fricking party, why would we need to relearn the fricking al bhed language again smh... Look the story might piss u off but the gameplay's cool & fan service for days.

A fair assessment at the end, it is indeed a fast paced game and it really seems to want to offer a counter experience to the original FF10. I’m glad it wasn’t a DMC style game but rather one of the best realized ATB system Final Fantasies.

Donald didn't immediately summon BECM Dragon because he can't attack first turn and the surprise factor is in his attack turn. Also, making it go longer than it should based in the tactics is obvious for anyone hosting a tournament and the opener of it.

Also for the infinite loop thing I think you're right, but that only applies when it will actually be an infinite loop, in the way that Yugi did it (which is also wrong but not for that reason, lol) was legal by that definition, since it would eventually end once Steve the Mime would deck out and it'd end in one side winning. A very popular 'infinite loop' that is legal is using Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon and your opponent having Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons on the field. Your opponent activates an effect, Flare Metal will burn them for 500, then Beelze will be forced to activate his effect to gain 500 attack, which will force Flare Metal to burn 500 more LP off of your opponent, and the cycle continues in an infinite loop until they run out of LP. The 'illegal' infinite loops are the ones that create a never ending game state that basically locks the players out of playing the game. In some versions of online simulators or in live competitive duels the judge or game itself will usually just end up destroying the problem card that is causing the infinite loop, but there are also times where the person that caused it is just instantly made to lose the game/match depending on how intentional it was, haven't seen it happen myself but I've heard people say so online.

Sanji and Luffy are my favorite characters by a lot, and I agree with basically all of your points, but Sanji is definitely a perv. Sanji's difficult relationship with the opposite gender has two sides: The pervy and disgusting side, which he shares with his brothers; And the "chivalrous" side, which he specifically learned from Zeff. I hate his excessively horny moments and I can't simply relegate them to "gags" (since they are often weirdly plot significant). His other "noble" side, while still problematic (very problematic), is infinitely more interesting. Sanji deeply loves Zeff, the father figure he so desperately wanted, and he would rather die than go against one of his teachings. For Sanji, in my opinion, hurting a woman would be the equivalent of denying that Zeff is his father. It has nothing to do with seing women as less or weaker (that would be Zoro, weirdly enough). Sanji is an hormonal and emotive mess, almost like a teen who's going through puberty, and he's supposed to be like that. Emotions are after all what separates him from his brothers, and while his hornyness and stubborness can often get him in trouble, his kindness and love never fail to be an incredible asset to the crew (see Bon Clay, G5 men, Viola, Pudding...)
