Dougie Lee Poynter is an English musician, songwriter, fashion model, clothing designer, author, actor and philanthropist.

Founded by Dougie Poynter (formerly of platinum selling UK bands, McFly and McBusted) and Todd Dorigo (former solo artist who has previously played Glastonbury and toured with Carl Barat of The Libertines) and completed by the addition of drummer Corey Alexander, INK. has drawn from a variety of influences ranging from The Rolling Stones, Nick Cave, The National, and Nirvana to the writings of Alan Ginsberg, Vladimir Nabokov, Leonard Cohen, and Jack Kerouac.

This really upset me
Wow. I lost my grandmother 4 years ago and the following months after her death, I was a zombie. I don’t even know how I was able to go to work, I was on autopilot. I know it’s a different story and a different kind of love in this piece, but it feels very familiar to me anyway, especially the beginning. Her death affected me, it still does sometimes. Beautifully done. Bravo.

What makes this so emotional for me is that some off his acting is based upon his own history. God knows how many years ago it was but dougie did try to take his own life & I'm glad he survived. :(

I think that was the case a year or two ago tbh. Anyone would think that they don't give a fuck anymore.
Angus Jones they are hard faces, hypocrites, I see that mcfly sinks more and more, I support the projects of each one, but there is time to make music, giovanna can take care of children, izzy can take care of children. Tom said that mcfly was his whole life, I understand that they still carry mcfly and friendship in their hearts, but this is increasingly buried. They do dont give a fuck anymore!
What pains me the most is I'm in a position where I get quite easily pissed off with the band who's inspired me since a very young age. But I feel the absence of McFly is almost all down to Tom. When I was about 7 I used to say Tom was my favourite member of McFly (lol) but now, watching his UA-cam channel and how it's changed from McFly/McBusted related to 100% books related, and every announcement he has now, is book related I'm so fucking annoyed, upset and pissed off.
