God damn why did they make the late game so boring .. we need "social activities" to your npcs, for example once you have many and tgey get idle set a few to go arround pumping the others mood (they already dance so part of the work is already done just code it to buff others and a job assignment

Don't forget you can also deter all of the invaders that attempt to invade other NPC tribe's (Flint, Claw, Fang) barracks -- the 'invaders' are a mix of claw, flint, and fang but they go by another name I think Exiled Rebels or Exiled Plunderers or something like that.

Bonus tip I just found out, you can put chill mod on mount saddle as well.

Do you know if i can bring loot back n forth thru basic portals on pvp server?

Its a good step for the devs, but they should really do diff settings for diff servers, if people go onto a pvp server they want more hardcore experience. After they added the fire change its so painful on pvp if you can just insta spawn next to where you died rush in grab your stuff especially if youre having a teamfight where looting is not an option if youre still getting attacked from the other team. Furthermore the buffing of main character im indifferent about since i switch to one immediately after the quest pops up. I always wanted the main character to be taken out of the remodel table and be able to put onto a crafting bench the character could be stuck at lvl 10 whatever idc. Now on a pve server its a whole dif story . *edit and dont get me started on the sheer amount of portals now.........its way too much for a pvp server.

I just laugh at these changes and both sides, the ones asking for things to be easier and the ones whining about the game being too easy now, both "solo/local" players are using GM commands and both complain too much

i dont understand when a invasion at me will be start? I play now 200 Hours on Official Server, but no Invasion. Are they coming when i am offline?

Great vid again! Many thanks for your effort on these short tutorials. I just managed the real jump into iron age last weekend as I found a place to mine iron without poison that is also quite save. I just have to deal with wolves that could be avoided mostly. That place is not marked as a mine but provide a good amount of iron ore. I climbed up the mountain from the holy dungeon in the east via wooden stairs. On top of the first cliff of the desert nearby a beast nest you can mine with only minimal radiation. You also do not need to engage the beast.

I had a short testing yesterday as solo player and I absolutly love this update as far as I could test it right now. The new perks for the first character seem to be the same for each player as far as I noticed this until now. But they are ok. The new caps for working and fighting skills are at reasonable points now and not in between. I have also deployed my 3 fighters at the same time and go to explore some new portals. Until now most things works fine. Only some fun things were noticed right now. One lady is always the last as she takes other walk paths and I had to wait for her on every stop. And after I stopped the deployment I realized that I need more toiletts. 2 ladies were running at the same time in direction of the toilett. As I have only one, I'm not sure who won this race. Both ladies are stil alive. The third lady seems that she did not know what to do after the deployment and just stand nearby me without doing something. It's also kind of funny that if you deploy 3 tribesmen and take control of one of them, the other deployed people stop deployment and are running away in all directions immediately. I also like the location of the new portals and the mark on the map for all portals that I visited again. Another great thing is that the arrows are lighter than before.

My character is to overpowered now 😂. Killing everything so easy even bosses on Hard.

Hey, quick question... I'm at an official server and I can now - after the patch - craft things on any bench in any of my 6 bases while using materials from ALL MY BASES... I mean it's nice but isn't it a bit too much? And it's highly unrealistic too :P Do you guys also have this happening on your servers?

They had talked about how op the AI was when shooting arrows at the NPC's and they said they were going to work on that. Maybe this is what that change was.

What I dislike about the update is that they are inconsiderate of archer users. The personal teleportation doesn't not allow me to take my arrows through, because they're in the inventory. Can you please help me emphasize this because archer fighter should have fun experience too and honestly they never help the archer user have a better experience. For example, when fighting an enemy from a long range, it can cause the enemy rather retrieve and restore entire life, resulting in an incredible amount of wasted arrows. This can happen with elites or elephants maybe. I don't want the feature off just simply enlarge the fighting area 60 more meter, In total of at least 100 meter of fighting space ... I think the only give us a diameter of 40 meters of fighting area. Which incredibly sucks ti ar her users!

Great video. Best patch ever. Just built my first portal yesterday and I was incredibly disappointed it didn't connect to the existing portal network.

Glad to see this game doing well. It needs more recognition. I left. I was on official it was to punishing. Whenever I would explore I was either bored or being handed my gluteus on a silver platter. The extremes are a bit much. Idk if I glitched that night but my lit bonfire refused to appear after death. These changes almost make me want to come back. Sounds like death port has been fixed. Good devs. I'm playing Valhiem atm.

Adapt overcome improvise and play on. Cant do so much about they total change the game. Still I will try play on and BE HAPPY!... ;) When we all come to end game, they change the initial character cap again... Some of the changes Im not so happy about can be changed in Admin on private server, so that is good. They should make a game options for us, conservative, new features hater, to be able play the game as when we fall for it....

I have not had an invasion with such strong enemies yet, at most 8 Claw Invaders with bronze equipment, I have not found a priest in those invasions neither but an incredibly tough and resistant Guardian guy, it's a shame he can't be recruited

If this game is like Conan Exiles, the AI ​​will look for the doors to break them and enter, if the AI really do not destroy the walls, then just like in Conan Exiles, you can build a kind of mini-maze with several doors and traps connected to the Main doors. This gives you time to position some of your archers on the walls while you and another tribesman take care of those trying to reach the main gate.The only downside with thist this strategy is that it will slow down your laborers collecting resources outside the base, but maybe you could find solution for that too

I looked at the main character as a type of Shaman whose talent points went into the darn mask. I mean ya sure.. you want your main character to have higher skill points? OK fine.. then take away skills from the mask to accommodate that. Take away your mimicry abilities. Take away your ability to be invisible etc., That is what your main character is bringing to the table. It is the actual most OP character in equation with his/her ability to dominate the minds of other tribe members. If someone wants to create a private server with weaker settings ok fine, but darn sure don't change official which nullifies achievements of people who have already done this or that.

Been watching her for some time for SoulMask content but this video got me to subscribe. Short and simple.

I see many video's about soulmask, where clearly they running a private server with heavy boosted stuff. That is by default making stuff alot easier. I been playing with a friend on official and we did hit a brick wall at iron, while going 40 to 50 awareness. The Exp needed, the materials, the bosses, the dungeons (and lag), i very much say this is considerable harder then majority of surivival MMO's i played. Yes, part is just boring grind, yes part is just having better gear, but saying its 'easy'? Well, its more unbalanced/unfair. Take for example the masks, their abilties and the materials required, your tribemen boost mask comes from a lvl50 dungeon at wich point tribesmen became obsolete already. The 2nd boss upgrades takes gems only from lvl40 dungeons, where you probably just hit bronze level and barely can go iron. And then the RNG.. the stupid overly RNG on detering. Although all fixed at spawn, its a massive gamble when you deter a tribesman what stats he get, what perks he gonna get.. Where at times, i got the best stats from a 'low rank' detered and majority of 'masters' i can outright trow away since they got horrible stats or perks (really, a lvl50 master weapon with 'just' 109 weapon proficiancy?)

love the game as is you choose the difficulty level you choose the direction of play my only complaint really is the direction of building pieces is to subtle and being able to recognise the difference means you are constantly having to remove and replace pieces so they are facing the same way lol

Thank you , but it takes a lot of time to get iron from the first dungeon i think the poisonous cave is a better place to get iron fast, however the dungeon with a chosen one tribesman can be more rewarding bc we can obtain other special loot
