This scene was so hype when I was a child.

I swear some people get on my nerves. They hate on the DiC dub for no reason. Yes it wasn’t faithful to the original Japanese series, yes it was campy, cringe and over the top, but that was its charm. It was very ‘90s. They took something and made it its own. Again, it was the 90’s we weren’t so politically correct then, that and the DiC was geared towards elementary kids whereas the Japanese version was for a teen demographic. So yes some things were modified. There’s an and place for everything and 90s USA wasn’t there. Respect the era. More so how many of us kids in the ‘90s even knew the Japanese version existed? You can’t get mad about something you didn’t even know existed.

Watching this dub again for the first time in YEARS, and it's both surreal and nostalgic to be here again. There was a time where I considered myself to much of a 'true anime fan' to still enjoy this, but I'm glad that I reconsidered! It's an adaptation at the end of the day, and it's a hell of a lot of fun to revisit. Awesome soundrack too!

I'm 37 and this scene still makes me cry and laugh. I love DIC version of sailor moon. The music, The voice actors and actress. This in my opinion is the best sailor moon ever. Side note does anyone know where I can buy the dvd version of this sailor moon?
