This is just a quick video update on our Fender sub-assembly and that nasty seam issue I was dealing with. I filled it in and sanded it. It's far from perfect, but it looks much better. Thanks for watching!

got another hint fot you, befor mounting anything else on the fenders and placing the engine cover put the rubber tie downs in place first
I got them on already. but yeah that would suck to try and get them in behind that tire rack. Thanks Ken!

Hi Ed, your making some great progress on your Hemmtt. You mentioned in your video that the large bender wouldn't work for that small part. Don't forget about those fingers on the other side of the bender. A lot of the time they work well for those small parts. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day buddy. Jeff

looking good so far. i found it to be an enjoyable build, just a word of warning be careful of handling the fender once the spare tire rack is mounted. the part closest to the cab liked to pop off on mine. youll enjoy building any other trumpeter hemtt kits, im going for the thaad version next

@@modelsandbeer you are very welcome. ive got my m1120 chs ready for paint. the thaad is also based off the m1120 . i may try to get the hemtt fire truck as well. i will also get the m983 with the x-band radar.

@@modelsandbeer the cab, engine, and most of the chassis and fenders are the same. the load lifting hook mounting bracket for me would twist. also be careful with the hydraulic cylinders, im modifying mine

Thanks Patrick, I think what happened was I had applied glue to the pins that connect to the female end piece. I ended up not putting the two halves together right away and I think the glue swelled the pins on the male side and then they didn't want to seat properly. Rookie mistake, Oh well, lesson learned.

Hey Patrick! I did have a situation joining the two halves of the breather housing but I did get some filler into the seam and worked at it for a bit and I think I got it somewhat remedied. Thank you buddy for watching. Enjoy your weekend!

looking good so far, the missing piece is part of the exhaust system, which you have to do a bit of photo etch. loved the kit, cant wait to start my m1120. i went with the chu version on the m1120, there is a lhu version as well. just from pictures i cant tell much of a difference between the two of them
