I had cellulitis on my breast when I was 18. My parents were out of town, so my cousin took me to her gynecologist. This man did used a speculum on me as a virgin with zero period issues, questions, etc. He didn’t explain what was going on, what was going to happen, did I consent. Just, “I’m going to examine you real quick.” I’m 40 now and it is still traumatic to think about.

My bv comes every single time semen is introduced. It’s happened with every partner that I’ve had. Metronidazole clears it then it comes right back after sex. I’ve been told to ask for a mycoplasma or ureaplasma test. What are your thoughts?
Same here it’s comes back it wasn’t ureaplasma or myco for me it was actually hormonal it was associated with my Pcos and low vitamin d , I am now on suppressive therapy boric acid 21 days followed by metro gel twice a week then probiotics for 2 weeks to put back good bacteria as antibiotics wipe out good bacteria too, look into evvy it’s a micro biome test it tells you how much good and bad bacteria you have
