I am having trouble getting my text to turn transparent. On your video it happens when you change the blending mode to "screen". However when I do that, my text doesn't change to transparent, it remains white (the text color that was chosen). Any help please?
For this method to work, the text and/or logo needs to be solid black. The screen blending mode turns everything that is black on a given layer to transparent. Change the text to black and it'll work. Let me know if it doesn't and we'll figure it out.
You can save the logo as a brush. I don't believe Elements supports saving actions, so I don't think there is a way to set it to do it automatically for a whole batch.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!. I tried alot of watermark tutorials before and those were very hard. Thanks for sharing with us. I shared u on my facebook and "like"
Respected Sir , I tried many of the watermark lesson before those were very complicated . But your way really easy and it really very nice . Thanks for sharing yourr knowledge . God Bless !!
I just tried it to make sure I remembered right. When you have the watermark the way you want, click File>save as. A dialog box will pop up. There is a drop down box next to "Format"--it will default to "photoshop (.psd) since there are multiple layers. All you have to do is click on the down arrow next to it and choose "Jpeg". Let me know if you're still having trouble and I can do a screen recording of the process later, but it's pretty straightforward.

I really hope that you are not using the same marinade that the raw chicken was marinating in to baste the chicken with while cooking....
Ben Hodges I did. Its perfectly safe as it was cooked along with the chicken. I stopped basting for the last 10 minutes or so.
I second that....
Thank you very much! Finally a really short video about a simple and easy way to add watermark!
Great video…so much easier than other methods…one question: how were you able to rotate watermark so it was diagonal? I can't seem to do that.

You can also just save the logo as a .png file so you can use it whenever you want.

I haven't looked through the other comments, but how do you save the watermark so that you can put it in all photos?

Is there a way to save the logo so I don't have to do all those steps for every photo?
How do you add it to multiple pictures at once?

How do you save the image as JPEG? I can only save it as a .psd file that is huge. It does not allow me to save as jpeg. please help!
You're a saint! Thanks for the easy tut!
THANK YOU!!!! :D
Just save it as a jpeg. It will flatten the layers and save it. Make sure you save a copy of the original without the watermark though!
