I think a "soft" advantage of the Rifle Grenade AT kit is that the rifle grenades don't kick up as much smoke and backblast as the regular RPG, making it easier to land consecutive hits on unaware vehicles

I couldn't disagree more.. All games like have same problems you mentioned. I played all of them, I think in hell let loose is the biggest number muted players because you have more info on map and marking enemy is easier, everyone can do it. Problem with squad games the are more challenging. People don't like their brains anymore. They like press buttons on keyboard and click mouse. That's why games like call of duty are so popular. Squad/squad44 on the beginning is annoying, you die all the time but when you get gut it's very entertaining. Hll match all looks exactly same.

Well. As a long time player of HLL. I have to say you missed a couple things. There are days where it is good to but A LOT of days it’s shit. Thanks to a recent update where you can go server hunting manually. It makes it easier to find a full lobby. There used to be times where you jump in that the game picked for you. And there was only 5 or less people playing the entire game. But back to communication. About 30% of the games I play in has people speaking in there. The commanders and squad leaders are incompetent about 60% of the time. And even if it’s a full game. So you have to start your own squad. The people that join you if you leave it open don’t talk to you. And don’t even get me started on the 3-5 armor squads that are locked with only one person in them so they can sit on top of a hill halfway across the map to snipe when the enemy tanks come in and wipe you out and are covered by buildings or landscapes. And then there is the spawn points. Half of the matches the squad leaders don’t put down an OP. Or it’s too far away to be effective if you get killed and come back in right away. Or you are near the enemies last objective. They come back at the last minute. Defend it and take the point on your side. Then you die and look for a spawn point to try and defend and take it back. (While trying to keep the front lines on your enemies side). But surprise. There is no spawn points except for maybe one or two OP’s that you aren’t in the squad of. And just the HQ spawns. Artillery is not hitting shit and using up all the resources. I could go on and on. So I can see the aspect of squad being a problem in one area and thinking that HLL is better in that aspect. But trust me. HLL makes up for other stuff that makes you want to quit the game all together.

If you bougth squad, you should know what you where getting into. You wanted a tatical experience. It will probably take a few matches before you find that one SL who will take tiu under his wing and trach you the basics, then just play the game and do what poeple tell you. If you dont understand why, ask them why they want you to thet thing, they will most likely explain. Congratulations, you just learned something.

I’m surprised it wasn’t mentioned, but I think a major disadvantage for the VDV is that every squad (not in a heli) needs to be split up amongst multiple vehicles at the start. This can ruin cohesion, especially with dumb randoms/lone wolves who take the squads 2nd Vic with 2/3 of the squad to the wrong area. The INS faction has a similar issue, but their strengths make that a part of the gameplay. Like AT rushing out on bikes.

To help pin point the direction of fire, pan your view side to side. You can make large sweeps and then hone in, making smaller movements until the gunfire is even in both ears.
