desde Chile , me hubiera gustado que mostraras los precios de algunos grandes o de mas edad
Thank you for the comment not all the larger older ones had prices on but if I go again I will make more of an effort 👍
What is the sharp sand ?
Sharp Sand you can get from most hardware stores as its used in the building trade
i worked here for 2 months before the bonsai bash right up to the Bash and its really nice when people appreciate the work we put into getting things ready before the event as it really is all hands on deck! :) amazing place to work though, absolutely loved it
You all did a great job really enjoyed it and spent a fortune 😂
Good prices on the pots for sure.thanks for sharing the tour!

Wow mate stunning place
It really was 😊
It's was an amazing day and some absolutely amazing bonsai 😍
How about a Japanese maple I have to take cuttings from it and all of them died... So sad
Mine don't take from cuttings very well either try small airlayers they work really well for me 👍😊
Congratulations ! Gav is the GOAT ! Great Haul Keeping it Bonsai :) just hit you with a sub as a cheers P(^0^)p
Thanks bud yeh I consider Gav a great friend as well 😊 and thank you for the sub 😊👍
Yeh what are the chances I can't believe it's still flowering even now it has 2 lovely purple flowers on it
Excellent bud and a great unboxing of those goodies. Hopefully everything comes in handy and what are the odds - The Cacti were won by a Cacti lover 💚 And, those Maples are looking brilliant and lush
Thanks bud and yeh what are the chances hey 🤣 and its still flowering even now 😊👍
Need to wear a mask when handling perlite.
Thanks for that 👍 is it just a dust thing or is there more to it?
The perlite is an expanded rock, as such it is sharp, when inhaled will cause micro punctures to your lungs. Over time your breathing may become labored.
I would have done some pruning on those roots. The commercial Chinese elms are not well looked after and left uncared for will cause you issues later down the line. Compared to some I've had, them roots are worth spending the time on. You can get a half decent root system on that tree. 👍🏼
Thanks bud yeh I took over half off in the video I didn't want to go to crazy on its first repot but its a young tree so plenty of time 😊👍
All looking good bud 👍👍
Thanks bud it's getting there 😊👍
Cheer up brother, always work, best wishes for success 👍👍
Thank you bud appreciate it 😊👍
So nice having that greenhouse to work in. Love it! Your replanted bonsai’s are looking real good as does your veggies too!
Awww thanks Maureen if you wasn't the other side of the world you could of had some veggies I've grown way to many 🤣
All looking good bud and some nice repots 👍👍
Thanks bud appreciate it 👍 🙏
Well bud sometimes great bonsai starter trees come from funny beginnings and maybe this Sloe will grow onto be something nice
Thanks bud it's actually growing really well I've trimmed it a few times already 😊
Liked, subscribed all that jazz. I love the space you having there. Waiting for more videos.
Thank you plenty more to come got some really big trees to work on soon 👍😊
@@KeepingItBonsai looking forward bud. Good luck and keep us all updated.
I use hardware cloth (galvanized steel mesh) with 0.5 inch gaps for sieving out smaller pieces of pine bark nuggets
Great tip! Thanks 😊 👍
Very nice update video bud on the cuttings, greenhouse projects and the Chinese Elm. All looking good 👍
Thanks bud yeh it's getting there I did get the green house tidy then ordered 30 large Japanese larch and filled it up again 🤣
I don't know about beech, but generally air layer need good low temperature, and good, precision, and clean when cut the cambium. Best regards and friendship from Indonesia 11:02
Your absolutely spot on mate and thank you for the comment 👍 😊
Hi Celtic fellow ❤ thank you for this vid :) ❤ OMG 😱 you left those japanese maple's seeds on the ground ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you 😊 but they are not Japanese maple seeds they are sycamore seeds from the tree near my garden I have hundreds of little sycamores growing everywhere like weeds 🤣
@@KeepingItBonsai cool they bear Samaras like the maple do
Very inspiring, thank you.. New subscriber 👍👍
Thanks for the sub!
Your welcome brother
Awesome bud and what a collection of seeds! Have any of the Griseums germinated for you yet?
Sadly no not yet but to be fair I'm kinda glad af the moment I have so many trees at the moment I have no where to put any more 😅
New to your channel yay a new bonsai channel for me to watch
Thanks for subbing! Lots more to come 😊👍
@@KeepingItBonsai I look forward to it I just started documenting my journey as well
Nice soil mix 💚 one thing as petlite is vitrified any alcalinity isnt soluble so wouldnt, as far as i know, influence the ph 🙏
Thanks bud I was only going by what I've read and been told bit always open to learn something new 😊👍
Fantastic mate, great work 💪🏼💚
Thank you bud appreciate it 👍
Bro...that´s a carpinus...
Thanks bud but honestly it's not I still have the receipt from the shop and even the mobile apps say its a beech 👍
if youve got a garden leaf vac , put the bigger pine chips through it and sieve is out after works great
Thanks bud that's a great idea 👍😊
Hi you sure its not a hornbeam ?
Yes 100% sure 👍😊
Awesome Jamie! Fingers crossed 🤞 that beech survives and thrives for you!! You’ve proven to those naysayers you can in fact air layer a beech! 🎉🎉👏 Be proud of that and I can’t wait to watch this bonsai’s progress! 👍😊
Thanks Maureen 😊 yeh fingers crossed 🤞
Ah Jamie now that's great stuff and it's great to know that you can root a beech from an air layer. Now who was it that said you couldn't airlayer a beech! 😂😂😂
Can't remember now but it certainly can be done 😉
Lovely job
Thank you! 😊
