What's the deal with F038 and H75? Are they the same thing?
@@1mikesmiley pretty much. One defines the keyway H75 whereas the other defines the lishi type, Fo38, associated to the keyway. A lishi will never have h75 written on it; however!, the opposite is not always true about the keyway; indeed, i have ran through several keyways that also list the lishi as the keyway... confusing yes i know. If you see H75 / Fo38 in your dolphin cutter, it points to the same thing. I hope my explanation does not confuse you.

At 1:46s i started picking the lock. Toy43AT picks open clockwise. AT 5mn in the video, i finally unlock the driver door then proceed to renove the lock to read the code and make the key.

@@pouncerminned863 lol had nothing to do with random buttons bud. There is really nothing special about these. My utmost mistake was not holding the key being sensed at the sensing area because i removed it almost instantly; that is all; one does not need to do countless VW to do that; just tell them and they ll do it (really simple). Lastly, being able to get out of trouble in such a situation allows one to manage stress to overcome the situation at hand and ultimately reach the positive outcome. It was great experience for me: one temporary failure that allowed me to learn twice as much. A failure is always a blessing; that is how i view it. Thanks for chiming in.

@@DFWAuto_Hack i had the same trouble, until i saw a video of someone (i think it was mykeys automotive on youtube) using the little sidebar stop. My issue were mazda and honda keys 😅.
@@marc0hdz lol. For some reasons i have not had issues with Honda. But Mitsubishi and ?Mazda gave me a lotttt of stress especially when i was running my last transpomder. Lately my machine started acting up with keys im general & breaking probes out of the blue. Luckily i was proactive and had received Dolphin 2 (xp005L); guess what, the new machine is performing worst than the xp005 🤣🤣. I reinstalled the last update of the old xp005 again and it seems to be alright. Today, it broke its fairly new 1.5mm cutter on a circle+ id; i was like whaaaaaat. It was a customer key, ebay key; i had an extra cutter, installed, calibrated amd cut one of my keys and all was well uffff.

@@crystalgaming4864 yes i did. Mitsubishi key cut from code require positioning the key at the shoulder. I have had failures with these on several occasions. Mazda keys too if i remember correctly

NO Code can only be between 30010-32009 so 31783 is the only code that will fit in this interval.

Diagcode is a software that provides pin for hyundai and Kia up to 2016. Diagcode cost between $4-500 & allow you to pull 3 pin codes per day; pin is also easily fetched using the programmer; just have good voltage and good internet speed.

I have no problem with Cas 3++ when using vvdi...although it dusabled the steering lock on an 07 e60
Disabled it? Oh wow. I wonder how ?! Were you able to restore the steering lock operation? If so let us know what you had ro do. I had VVDI that day but wanted to do the procedure with key tool plus & kept vvdi as a back up. Key tool plus has been a hit or miss for me so i always try to see what it can do. I really thought vvdi2 and key tool plus were going to do the same thing same way. Did vvdi 2 allow you to save eeprom and flash before starting the procedure? Key tool plus did not have such option to use for manual back up which i think should not be the case because it is risky not to have any back up. Lastly, a guy on my whatsapp locksmith forum tried the same procedure on the same car with key tool plus but for some reasons, it failed. Both customer keys and his were no longer working and the car turned into a veggie; what a disaster?! I think the CAS was corrupted or something & i told him that it could be due to his internet speed because he was using jumper cables just like i did on this car and it was the same programmer working on the same cas3++ istap so the only thing i can think of is Internet Speed

Yes bud. I chose the title to draw attention in order to share or point out about the importance to clean or lube the lock when things get wierd like this. I edited the video but i picked it 3 times and everytime i could not find a match then i started being paranoid about other wafers whose cut were slightly in between numbers which led to me actually messing up the whole combination. If things get wierd, lets lube the lock and try again; furthermore, our friend from Australia provided an awesome info: mazda cuts alternate from odd to even. Big thanks to him for sharing

Here in Australia the Maz24r locks always alternate odd to evens or evens to odd. so you cant have 333, it would be 323 or 343

Mazda tends to challenge me a lot, even when duplicating keys; my dolphin cannot seem to decode it automatically without mistakes so i always use the universal cutting mode or my Manual cutter.

Thank you. Would it actually fit in the wrong way? I don’t remember if i corrected or not but my friend whose Telluride brakes i was doing never had any issues up until today. Before i wrap things up, i told him to go for a ride; he said it was smooth; 2 days later we met at another location and he said all was well with not a single noise or deiveability issues. May be i realised it, corrected but forgot to video tape that part or more importantly leave a note in my video to prevent others from maning the same mistakes therefore my apologies if i misled you; it was not my intention. You said is ID46... but you generated ID48... it should be ID48 :) ... Some audi b7, still have immo3, and the procedure, yea, is to read pin, and learn key... just like on B6... But most B7, has immo 4, where you have to read immo data, generate dealer key, then add key :)

Yes buddy i did with another tool. I just performed the job with KTP because i am still trying to determine what it is best at. I usually remove tbe CAS and do ot on bench with ACDP. I gave such a low prics ro this lady & guess what she complain her key did not have a bmw logo and wanted a free key cut GZzz

@@csgtt i love it. A breeeze. My first cas3 ever was a cas3++ istap. I bought a $1200 BMW at auction to learn nd it had no key. I tried Autel nd it could not read ISN. Tried lonsdor and it respectfully said it could not do it lol. Acdp was like 1 2 3. Now the Bimmer is a work project for me to keep. It will be a good guimea pig for all my ECU coding and flashing experiments 😀

Yes Thank You brother!! You are the 3rd or 4th brother that made me realise that. The only thing im still questioning is after the manual security info entry, i made the same mistake because I was so stressed out lol i could not even watch the key count on dash. Just training on a cluster i purchased on ebay to toy with and it seems like obdstar could do it because it read and weote eeprom data so im sure it can read immo but ignition needed to be switched on to read immo data by obd so I cannot finish it on bench
@@csgtt have you done a 2018-2019 VW ATLAS yet? It is an MQB48. I ve done one a month ago with keytoolplus but did not have time to make the video and post it yet. I used keytoolplus. It went well but the key fob fccID was lacking just a but in its last 4 character after the hyphen; this caused the remote not to work. It was a keyed ignition by the way

Hello Mike, no locks on the doors so no lishi there. Only lock is right above the license plate but very incomfy position to lishi. To reply to your question, i used a lock out kit; there are levers at the bottom of each seats, like older Hondas & Toyotas fuel door levers; not sure if i showed them in this video but with a long reach rod, 1- reach under the lever & pull it up to open the door 2- use the seat lever to move the vertical side of it forward 3- slide in the trunk; it is not fomfy at all (im 6’4 & 240lbs), 4- a carpet that covers all the trunk area can be removed at the edges to reveal the battery @ the top left corner 5- a jumpbox will be great Once power restored, horn will go off loudly 6- press the trunk button to open the trunk Note: in my case, trunk button was not working & trunk lock was vandalized but had to pull on the lock metal wire a certain way to open the trunk but that worked way after doing what described above so I guess everything happens for a reason & it happened that way tor the sake of a new video to be uploaded on the channel to help someone with various options about ways to tackle this.
U need to hold the key to the coil while pressing okay u didn’t learn any of they keys when it’s says 0-3 it means zero keys where learned
The reason it failed to begin with is that you held the key 2 seconds on sensing area but dis not press ok on in508 and when you pressed ok on the im508 the key was no where near the sensing area. So the car programmed 0 for key 1, 0 for key 2 and 0 for key 3 no wonder it failed and erased all keys. The good thingvisbyou had saved immo and eeprom data and can restore it.
Thank you. If it had not programmed key 1, it would not prompt me to learn key 2 & if it had not sensed and learned key 2, it would not have prompted me to move on to the last key per the programmer say; while i dont argue that the key should be held at the while pressing okay sensing area to prevent any risk, i am positive that it must have sensed and learned the first two keys for prompting for the next each and everytime. If that was the problem then key 1 would not be sensed hence not learn so it would not have asked for key 2 and vice versa. My thought process is there must be a time frame within which the programmer recalls the key data but this must also be subject to key quality and / or type (wrong fcc ir no); But I got your point and understand it is just better to keep it there while pressing okay. Anything happening for a reason, i am glad it happened that way because it forced me to get out of trouble by myself in a pretty intense situation & since it was not as easy as loading immodata and done, it was perfect for a part 2 video on how to recover manually. @DFWAuto_Hack I had similar problems with tiguan. One I had to remove cluster to get to eeprom, the other since I used a different programmer I was able to read pin code and took a picture of it and luckily I was able to do akl with with the im608 and the pin code from the other programmer. I haven't seen your part 2 video, but I'm going to look at it. Thanks and great work.
@@car-key-programming Nice job on the eeprom; had you used vvdi prog? I use vvdi prog and vvdi2 on eeprom but i have had a lot of issues with a 2016 Tiguan clustered i purchased online to self train at the office. I am not sure about the eeprom type. Keytoolplus says 24C64 and another programmer says 24C32 so i am very confused but it is not a customer job so every night i try till im able to get it lol. About part 2 sorry it is far away from Part1 because i did not realise that the setting of part 1 was not visible when i made both videos so part 2 was published several months ago but i only realised the problem yesterday which is why part 1 came out after part 2; i dont even remember if i was able to video the whole recovery step by step (i was sweating in the car lol)
@@DFWAuto_Hack u are wrong u need to hold key while pressing okay it didn’t sense the key I promise u if it did then the number on the dash would change to 1-3 and then 2-3 and with the final key 3-3 which it didn’t do for u trust everyone when they say that’s what u did wrong I’ve gone hundreds of VW and on all of them u have to hold key while pressing okay go back and try it this way and see it will work
@@DavidPetrisor thanks i already corrected what is wrong and i dont make this mistake anymore. This video was made several months ago. Just posted now because i did not realise it had never posted. I guess i was too focused on the programmer screen to notice the dashboard 1/3, 2/3 & 3/3; I did not do as many vw but i knew about the dash and i just never watched the dash; i might ve been too tired because i remember having fell asleep behind the wheel on my way to this customer. Thanks a lot. Another thing that kept me not realise my mistake is the programmer kept telling me to try the 2nd key after the first one so im still wondering why it did if it did not sense it. Time to look through my video to see what i did when relearning the two keys successfully without the Amazon key. Thanks again for your contribution.

First,put the Key to the sensor area don't remove it before pressing ok. Secondly, same time they remove the sensor from that place and put it in different places so check it well. before you can do anything unless you jump wire from pin 1 on obd to 16 before the ignition will turn on
Thank you for your advice. I started doing that since then. However, that was not the problem because if it was it would have failed for the first original key and the key i ordered for the customer; only the third amazon key was not accepted because he probably received a key with the wrong fccid because vw and audi have a variety of keys for same vehicles; i always call the dealer to get the part number then i convert it into the right fccid in my key database before i look for it on suppliers websites.

Program was auto hack did not place key in sending area while pressing ok. If this happens, just go into key learning to learn the dealer keys
At 12:17 you can read the Code-No. 5860 at the Glove-Box-Lock. With this Code you can find the Bitting 21515131 in the Dolphin at "All Keys lost".
WHY NO SHOW THE PROGRAMMING VVD12
because i had spent almost 5hrs there recording things that was not working with all the previous scanners; i really did not think that it was going to work and thought id have to remove the cluster but me not wanting to give up decided to try the hint listed by VVDI2, OBDSTAR & Keytoolplus therefore i tried to pick the cluster type and eeprom #2 manually and it was no longer grayed out; at that point, i was less concerned about making the video than finishing the job right & drive another 40mn back home. I had arrived at the customer location at 5pm and left at 10ish. If you ever run accross the situation where nothing works, just pick manually (if a hint suggests so);besides, all VAG have the same todo list: read eeprom data n save read immo data n save make dealer key add / learn key As long as you've picked the right eeprom and cluster, this is what you are going to have to do. if it is AN IMMO 3 OR LESS, No need to make dealer key. You just ensure the chip is right and learn the key as it is the case in my 2006 audi a4 all keys lost video. on both occasion I had not found a similar video to watch before going on the field so I knew it could be challenging but also knew I was gonna make their car start without having to take any damaging risks
