Samsara as Nirvana is a Change of Perspective Nirvana. It is not the only type of Nirvana nor is it the highest, which is parinirvana, at the time of death of the body. Although, conventionally speaking, Nirvana is often conflated with existence in an heavenly paradise.

150 pieces of nigiri zushi is not a whole lot for the given crowd. You should have had at least 300 per batch at a time. Nigiri zushi is very popular with both Japam and Western crowds.

Margarine is bad for your health. It is made from Hydrogenated Oils, which is proven to clog your arteries and heart. Spritz olive oil instead. Or just use real butter, which is actually good for your health. Just ask the French.

I have not been back to Japantown since high school when I use to go to YBA. Thank you for this! Brings back memories. Definitely going to visit the museum and other spots when I come back!

Hope they use all natural coloring agents in the pastries. I think that would be a good selling point.

Decades ago, when I was a college student in Hawaii where I grew up, I had a friend invite me to dance at the Obon there. "But I'm not Japanese!" I said. "Obon is for everyone!" they replied. I felt kind of bashful and didn't do it, but in 2019 I went to the Obon practices and danced in the Obon, and it was really fun. And now there's this terrible virus .... it may be a year or three before we can have a real Obon again.

It's a very nice painting and it was fun watching it being made.
