Of course I did! It's stunning! I am so excited about a swatch book but also terrified of having to do swatches for all pens I own 😅 I don't have to but that's the reason I want to have one :D

Ahhh thank you so much! I like their sets. Mostly :D Sadly some of the washi tapes barely stick to the paper which is a shame. The transparent ones stick pretty good. But when they'll have another nice set I know I'll get some haha Also I know I probably won't buy washi from Tiesofssi again, NT is much better quality in my opinion.

Yeah I think so too :D I know I have a lot of pens I do not use just because I don't know what exact colour they are so the journal will be so helpful. And I never thought swatching the washi tape could be that helpful as well :D

@ gotta love it when technology fails us. it’s all about trial and error at least now you know what you do and don’t need this time around. Mind you I took a lot of inspiration from you when I made mine up.

@@Iliketodabble24 I love how I set it up and I still can go and look things up in it even when with smaller font. Making the whole thing once again would be overkill I think haha so that's why in the new one I want to add only pages I'd need to use and I won't have to spend forever flipping through pages looking for the one I need :D Considering adding the new pages (not necessary for my character) to the old journal. But will have to figure out how to make that better.

Oh yes, it would be a great Orilium journal but I am set on using something bigger than A5, the writing in these pages is very...stylized (for me) and I have a difficult time reading it but it is possible so I was thinking using A4 would be better. But I agree, the craft paper would be such a good move :D Having a journal for random scrapbooking/journaling is so fun :D you can do basically anything in there which is perfect when wanting to do something outside my regular journals :)

Yes the washi is really pretty but not a great quality. I've not tried the journal yet, still did not find the time to setup the health journal in that green one. That's really sad, hope you'll find a way to work around that. My all time favourite journals are Reverie from Mellow Days. They have actual watercolour paper, no smudgy at all, paper is off-white. The only negative is that the dots sometimes do not align between pages (usually between signatures), but I do not mind it that much. I think they make only A5 size. And they are from France so depending on where you are from, the shipping might be too much. I found them after shipping from Archer and Olive got way too high and tbh I like Reverie ones much much better.

@@RyeMiArt I am currently living in Norway, so anything I order is a lot of shipping, but I can always ask family and friends in Belgium/Slovakia to ship from France so maybe I will have a look at those for next year! I am just accepting the smudging for now and sticking with the journal, I will see if I get annoyed enough with it throughout the year to just switch. I have only done my yearly spreads, but no book reviews yet which will include a lot of text. Crossing my fingers it will work out.

@@xcrackingvoices Yay I'm in Slovakia too :D Fingers crossed it will work out! Maybe you could also try different pens? I find Pilot Acroball pens to be the least smudging out of those I've tried. But I'm not sure if you have Pilot brand in Norway.

@@RyeMiArt Yes we are a mixed family so we are spread all over Europe hehe. I actually have those pens for when I write my reviews. When I make spreads I use Pigma Micron pens, so perhaps that is what has been my issue. I honestly think it is the shiny paper itself. If I use an eraser, you can see the paper loses the shiny where I erased, and I couldn't prepare anything in pencil, because then I would wipe away the PEN marker on top of it? It is suuuper weird!

I love that you did not go high end from the beginning. It's best to first figure out what you actually want and what you like to use. Welcome to the journaling community. Hope you'll have lots of fun with it and find your 'groove' soon :D With time you'll also figure out how you want to use your pages, if you want to divide them (into 4 sections, maybe in half, maybe you'll need to make a calendar) and the grid guide it simply there so you won't need to count all the dots 😂 Believe me, it is a lot of counting 🤣By some miracle I always forget how many squares there is in each way when setting up my next month 😂Now I just put the guide on the paper and find my dots, without having to count them :D

Honestly, I use whatever I have on hand :D My favourite ones to use are Pilot pens. The pen I used in this video is one I've had for at least 5 years now and I got it from one of those cheap sites. Could not find it anywhere any more. Sorry.

Ah thank you! I love her sketchbooks as well! Dotted is somehow synonym for journal for me haha and I could not find a square one so I grabbed one of hers. She said she won't do more dotted ones (if you're interested in those) because they sell the least. So I bought one as soon as I could :D

It's transparent sticker paper for ink jet printer (that's what I have). It's in A4 sheets. I bought the cheapest one I could find many years ago in a local shop. Do not recommend it. If you look for something similar in stationery/print shops, you might find something better.

I'm so glad my journal inspired you! I only started day 3 today. The work and all those setups took up lots of time, but now I'm excited to go fully into it :)
