      Hi. I stopped using CapCut not only because, although it is good for some basic/intermediate editing, it has some problems with more advanced videos and also, nowadays almost every function is for pro subscription only. That's why I switched to DaVinci Resolve. But about your video, I remember that something similar happened to me when I edited long videos and with a lot of text, effects, etc. What I did was try to export it, video layer by video layer, and the same for the sound. Also, try to disable some effects, where the video jumps or loses the sound. Sometimes, there is some incompatibility between effects or too many effects, cuts, sounds, and all together. If I were you, I would start thinking about jumping on some more reliable vand powerful video editing software. Hope it helps somehow, and best wishes for your vide9 recovery.

    This turned out to be the perfect video for me, since I've been trying do decide between Ugreen and Conexant, and this is the only review I've come across that actually tests the mic input (ADC). Hi. I've used one from the brand Minifocus. They make some very good and affordable gear. Here is the link for the one I've bought: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EHjVcxr About the gimbal pack, I would choose the Pro pack. As the AI tracker is a must, and to have this, you will have to opt for the Combo or Pro pack, then, as the Combo doesn't have the travel case, I would go to the Pro. But that's me that I like to store the gimbal in its case for convenience of travel. If you have your own case or don't mind carrying it in a backpack without its own case, it's fine to save a few bucks and go along with the Combo pack instead.

    What do you think about m6 vs insta 360 pro which one i should buy

    • @MSPACELOG
      @MSPACELOG 2 місяці тому

      I'm assuming you're talking about Insta Flow 360 Pro. That one is good for traveling as it is compact and fots in your pocket. Like I said in my video, if you're looking for a compact gimbal, easy to go and flow, and not planning a more professional approach, then the M6 isn't the gimbal for you. But, for me, the M6 is still the best gimbal around. The Insta Flow 360 and 360 Pro has a very nice approach for tracking, but even so, it is far away from the AI Tracking device in the M6 and one of the biggest reasons why is it's brand independent. If you look closer, you can only take more or less the same advantage of tracking on Insta as the M6, with any video app, if you're in iPhone. Android users are left out. Besides that, the M6 AI tracking device still works better. On the M6, you can use any phone you want as any app you want and still track yourself with no problems. Besides that, I don't really trust or like magnetic clamps. Also, the weight that Insta 360 supports is far less than the beast of the M6 can handle. Again, Insta is good for on the go fast shooting and portability. But if you want something for all kinds of purposes, it would be the M6 or the MT2 if you're planning also with cameras. Hope it helps.

  • @ronaldibrotonel1360

    hi there. nice review. Do you think the hohem m6 can handle an actioncam mounted on an adaptor?

    • @MSPACELOG
      @MSPACELOG 2 місяці тому

      Thank you. For that, I would use the Hohem MT2 just because you can use any adapter you want. The M6 is for smartphones only because its adapter is fixed. It may fit action cams, but it would be better if you could try it with some borrowed unit first.

      Thank you. I just did the intro using as a sample of what it is possible to achieve with those. Technically, you can achieve the same using the optical lens 3x, 5x, or 10x from your smartphone l, but those lose quality and struggle even more in poor light conditions. That's why I prefer using some external lens with the main camera instead. The rest of the video, as all my videos, are filmed with my 2x telephoto lens. Soon, I'll be making a review of a smoke machine, where I use an Anamorphic lens... keep tunning in, and you will see another great example of the achievable things you can do with external lenses.

Also when I select face tracking on hohem video app, and if multiple face appears then the gimbal seems confused and turn back and forth and finally stop tracking any…. Is it normal?//

    • @MSPACELOG
      @MSPACELOG 3 місяці тому

      You shouldn't grab the gimbal through its arms. It blocks the gimbal and it should be spinning like crazy until it shuts of, to prevent damage. I just do face tracking with the AI tracking device and not through the app, so I didn't experienced that. I just use the app to track objects. But i guess if multiple faces comes by it may get a little confused. Perhaps the need of software upgrade. Try to report to Hohem Customer Support.

All configurable in Hohem Joy app. it works with any video recording app, but if you are asking if the roll button controls zoom or focus it doesn't. By tilt and pan with the wheel i guess you're saying adjusting the framing as I showed up in my video right? If thats so , yes it is independent. For a microphone, you need an ADC. DAC is for speakers/headphones. The Samsung one might have a 3 channel 3.5mm (Left, Right, Mic). I know the Apple one is like that, and to get the Apple one to work with a separate mic, you need to use a splitter that splits out the speaker and mic channels into two 3.5mm sockets, and put the mic in the mic socket. But yes, if you just want to plug in a mic, then you are better getting one of the other ones.

Just researched it, and the contrary to DAC, which is ADC, definitely exists, and it is what is supposed to convert the sound from microphones, so the phone can pick them up. The thing is, all the connectors just talk about DAC. Perhaps because the majority of people buy them to hear music and not plug lav mics in. So, I'm guessing that most of these adaptors also come with ADC or something else, other wise they wouldn't have worked. I'm gonna buy one ADC and also experiment with some sound splitters I have on the Samsung one to see if it works. Even so... if you're getting cheap alternatives for plugging in your lav mic into your smartphone, those picks I talked about are very good choices. Thank you for the feedback.

      @@MSPACELOG All USB-C 3.5 mm adapters with a DAC very likely have an ADC as well (and the issue with the Samsung adapter is probably connector-related, as @katrinabryce said). It certainly wouldn't hurt if the manufacturers/marketers/merchants mentioned the ADC as well (including its specs; bit rates, sample frequencies etc). (As a side note for anybody who doesn't already know; DAC = Digital-to-Analog Converter, ADC = Analog-to-Digital Converter)

    I have yet to find one that works with my pixel 6a that allows charging and audio at the same time. They give me one or the other but not both working at the same time.

      That's s a bummer. This one works for me, but it is actually difficult to find the ones that work as they are supposed to. Miss the days with the normal 3.5mm port... If I find any, I'll let you know.

    just get cx31993, it costs like 4€ and will work on everything... I'm pretty surprised how such a small, cheap thing can produce much higher quality sound at 4x the max value than the crap build into a 1.5k€ laptop. I have no idea if it supports a mic since none of my headphones do include a mic but it might deppend on the manufacturer using the chip

      There are tons of alternatives. Thank you for the insight on that one. That one I didn't try, but now I have four to work with. All the adapters were supposed to work as expected, but no. And yeah, there are some built-in inside of laptops that are really crap ones. But, I'll save that reference for future buys 😉

      I have that one on the way the CX31993. Also have one using a realtek ALC5686 coming as well. The periodic rodium uses the same realtek dac and is praised by many. The rodium costs around 50 I believe but I got same chipset from temu for cheap.

      It will depend on the kind of shots you will want to take. For establishing shots I would go with a Gimbal and be using a Wide lens. For some more close up shots, a Tele lens, to add more natural depth of field. And, at night I would go for an Anamorphic lens to capture those blue flares that come from the lights. But it all depends, mainly the light source, the situation and your shooting style/idea. For the lens itself it depends on the price side and, consequently, the thread mount. The pricier ones and also the ones that have more quality, unfortunately have proprietary cases or clamps for that specific brand and not the universal 17mm thread mount (you can always ask the brand what is the size of the mount in case of doubt). In this lot I talking about brands like: Beastgrip, Shiftcam, Freewell, Smallrig and Moment. If you go for the cheaper side and don't mind a little less quality or to have to deal with some vignetting (easily fixed in post, specially if you film in 4K), then you can try brands like, Ulanzi, Apexel, Xenvo Pro and Movo. There is also Sandmarc (great quality ones) but I'm not sure if that ones are for 17mm thread.

    Do you've any good external lens recommendations for my iPhone 13 Pro max ?

      For that sensor size, I would go with the newer lenses for that sensor. Freewell does a pretty good job with the ones they have. You should also take a look at Shiftcam. Even @iphonegraphers recommend them. Both are on the pricier side but high quality. Cheap ones for those bigger sensors, I didn't find any yet that won't cause a bit of vignetting. Although nothing that a bit of post-processing won't do, the job. Beastgrip ones used to work well tool.

    This is the only one I've found. There is also a cage from Neewer now, but only with a plate for M-mount series (like moment), which is a shame.
