Just in time for the long awaited club reopening weekend Viktor Talking Machine invite us to a megafresh-racing safari into their magical Trademark House universe - #BDApodcast 054. Indie, Cosmic, Future or Deep, probably no one could classify this two-hour wellness treatment set to music. But what's the point when it's so mood-stimulating. It sprays, fans, whispers, sometimes 90ies, sometimes Spaceship, sometimes Bigtune, sometimes film music, almost like a symphony, Falko and Lars create an irresistible pull with (still) completely unknown record treasures, which in addition to the room temperature also equalizes all states of mind of the surrounding listeners - on pleasure.
The two sound researchers from Halle, who have also produced numerous highly acclaimed records of their own since 2015, predominantly on Buddy @SuperFlu 's @Monaberry label, plus remixes for @AcidPauli and @Andhim , among others, already surrender to their vinyl passion in their name: Viktor Talking Machine, that was the name of the first gramophones in the USA in 1901, when they started their triumphal procession around the planet. Since 2018, the shy and likeable producer and DJ duo has been part of the always 30-strong Bordel Des Arts DJ crowd in the Renate three times and would probably have been several times more if not was Corona, Corona, Corona...all the more beautiful now comes their, as they say it themselves, "probably the best podcast set of all time". Gerade passend zum lang ersehnten Club-Wiederöffnungs-Wochenende laden uns Viktor Talking Machine zu einer megafresh-rasanten Safari in ihr magisches Trademark-House-Universum ein - #BDApodcast 054. Indie, Cosmic, Future oder Deep, wohl niemand könnte dieses zweistündige, vertonte Wellness-Treatment einordnen. Aber wozu auch, wenn es so stimmungsstimulierend wirkt. Es sprüht, fächert, säuselt, mal 90ies, mal Spaceship, mal Bigtune, mal Filmmusik, fast einer Sinfonie gleich, erschaffen Falko und Lars mit (noch) komplett unbekannten Plattenschätzen einen unwiderstehlichen Sog, der neben der Raumtemperatur auch gleich sämtliche Gemütszustände der umstehend Hörenden gleichschaltet - auf Genuss.
Die beiden Hallenser Soundforscher, die seit 2015 auch zahlreiche vielbeachtete eigene Platten produzierten, überwiegend auf Buddy @SuperFlu ‘s @Monaberry Label, plus Remixe u.a. für @AcidPauli und @Andhim, ergeben sich ihrer Vinyl-Leidenschaft bereits im Namen: Viktor Talking Machine, so hiessen 1901 die ersten Grammophone in den USA, als sie ihren Siegeszug um den Planeten antraten. Seit 2018 war das scheue wie sympathische Producer- und DJ-Duo gleich dreimal Teil der ja immer so ca. 30-köpfigen Bordel Des Arts DJ-Schar in der Renate und wäre es wohl etliche Male mehr geworden, wenn nicht Corona, Corona, Corona..umso schöner kommt jetzt ihr, wie sie es selbst sagen, „wahrscheinlich bestes Podcast-Set aller Zeiten“.
