      😂 nothing wrong with pulling guard in a ruleset that favors guard pulling. I'm also comfortable there but totally respect that not everyone likes it. No sweat.

      😂 just playing within the ruleset and where I'm comfortable. I understand not everyone likes guard pulling. In other rule sets I wouldn't.

    I am a wb so bear with me, was that z guard - slx - terra lock attempt turned into a belly down? Only asking as slx is my best guard.

    • @dmitch442
      @dmitch442 2 роки тому

      I don't think it's exactly the Terra lock (but I'm not super familiar with the logistics of it so it might be). But that's essentially the progression and a little bit of cycling at the end based on his reaction.

      As mentioned in another comment. Simplicity of showing first part of a series. Also if you need just two points and/or you are a space passer. I would go into leg entanglements usually from there.

    • @dmitch442
      @dmitch442 2 роки тому

      I am not going to disagree here, something i was exploring a while back. I like to use this after I've done ballerina pass or during certain scrambles. It's very much a specific situation type pass. I will also say with higher level, very flexible people it is not that effective of they can get their legs back. So definitely not one I use much today anymore. Glad you took the time to watch and comment though. Progression is fun, exploration is fun, and realizing when something isn't as effective as thought is important
