The Wagoneer's overly expensive cousin. If it ain't a pick up in Ford or a horse, I don't want it. Excursion is too cumbersome and it looks like a cross between a mini-van and a mini-bus. May as well save a few thousand and purchase a used van. Probably also a reason why only 200, 000 sold between 2000-'05 back then. I'm guessing it won't last long and be discontinued soon again.

They are once again offering V-8 Engines instead of putting the PowerBoost Gas-Electric Hybrid Engine, and building an All Electric Version of the Excursion. Ford/Lincoln has not learned from their previous mistakes, and it looks like that they never will!

I hope this is true . My wife and I have a 2003 with a v8 and two hundred and twenty thousand miles and we love it. We bought it in 2005 with 32 thousand on it. It's been ever were and it's never let us down

Both those engines are too small. That beast empty has to weigh in at >8000 lbs or more. 6.7 turbo diesel is called for- especially if you're towing, well, anything.
