Aus Time Attack 2024 | Winton’s Fastest Evo
Bittersweet results for the GTE team at this year’s Aus Time Attack.
What coulda/shoulda been a close fight for P1 Outright was cut short by an over-torqued (not by us) aluminium banjo bolt causing a gearbox failure on our fastest lap.
Congratulations to Team Got It Rex on their well deserved win!

      @@pedrosegura8302 it’s been freshly rebuilt. Nothing special, stock engine with a pair of drop in Kelford cams and springs. GTP712 turbo, tuned on E85 with stock ECU. Custom valved coilovers, some adjustable arms. Brembo PISTA brake system. The rest was just fine tuning the chassis and suspension setup. Instagram: @gtevolution.au

      @@gtevolution Damn, nice! How much power approx? I have my 7 race car normally around the 400whp/360tq mark, but this looks to be more than that. At least it sounds angrier haha- Fair play to the 4b11

      @@BarbecuedPossum it’s an unopened engine with a GTP712 turbo, came off the dyno at 310kw at the wheels.

      @@gtevolution​​⁠​​⁠ Nice! Impressive what can be done with the stock mitsi bottom ends. Similar power to mine but the main power mods being: Gsc272 cams & tt s209 turbo with the supporting mods running speed density on a tephra rom stock ecu also. That seems to have less transient lag & doesn’t fall off as much during gear changes - clever turbo and or mapping there. Very good price to performance package

    Are you able to provide any info on the coilover kit used on the upgraded g80 touring or is it just a prototype? Can't seem to find anything on your website.

      @@benfl9636 hey mate, the kit in this car is a prototype, but they’re in production now. We’re approximately a month away from releasing them to public. What this video didn’t mention is that all our coilovers will have front lift implemented, so you can drop them as low as you like and raise them 35-40mm with a press of a button.
