7:43 I think giving the ghost an illusion of what could have been had at least gave some closure. A lot of exorcisms in stories use this trope. I don’t have much of a problem except the fact it was a side activity that ultimately didn’t matter. The ghost wasn’t causing any problems and she didn’t gain any vital knowledge by helping the ghost.

I do believe that while Namine can fix lost memories Strelitzia represents missing or repressed memories the flower design on their outfits definitely are similar and while Namine’s design makes her look innocent while Strelitzia’s design makes her appear angelic they are both beautiful angels in the games they star in

Do you think Namine herself might become a Keyblade Wielder to just help Kairi, Riku, and even the others find & save Sora? 😊

I realised most of the episodes had been meshed so the amount of the episodes we had with the OG, was not in the new one which was kind of a let down because I loved the Valentine’s Day episode and how ichigo actually put effort into her chocolate. I also noticed how she became his girlfriend so fast in the second one 😭 I will say I love how there’s more emotions in the characters like Ryou. He seemed jealous in the beginning whenever Ichigo mentioned Masaya but slowly adapted. I don’t know if it was more to do with a more protective love like jealousy or just trust. I also hate how they didn’t include the mews finding out about Purin’s mum and how she takes care of her siblings alone .. I also wanted the ending to be so much like the original where ichigo actually gives up all her aura and power to save masaya and he crys over her body when he wakes up. Him just waking up in the end is weird to me and how they just swiftly move on from that. I wanted to see more of Lettuce with Ryou and get an extra episode that kind of gives closure to them. They should’ve also been given a few more attack sequences to give a different take. Would’ve loved to see the Christmas episode too with ichigo and masaya And we need Zakuro’s past to be a bit more transparent I also would’ve loved that episode with Mint’s ballet and her saving her brother who used to be very much distant to her growing up. A lot of the episodes in the original were like growing steps, leading to development . We just don’t have that with the new one. I do like that mint is more mature in the new one and lettuce is more confident however that doesn’t really justify the reboot as we still need a bit of snootiness from Mint, and the comments she makes a lot of the time. Each character has their own uniqueness in the original .. I didn’t appreciate the major changes.

Justice for Kairi! Hell, let her join Donald and Goofy in KH4 (it won’t happen but that’s how I’d do it). Her meeting Garnet would be so cool.

I never thought of the Kairi needs training but Sora and Riku never did, a little weird. Also I really don’t understand how people forget of Kairi’s best moments, those are some of the most memorable parts of kh to me

Just dropping by to say that I couldn't stand Mint in the manga and had her be one of my favourite characters in New. They made a clear point to have the new anime be different because they wanted it to be NEW, it was never meant to be the same as either the manga or the 2002 adaptation and so many people are annoyingly attached to what they grew up with. It's not a remake, it's a readaptation, what they did with the characters in the new anime was great for the most part but no one ever gives the writers credit for their hard work due to rose-coloured glasses. So sick of it.

Minto wasnt even slightly snooty in the reboot, it's like they were scared to have her be even a little mean to Ichigo so they just removed the scenes between them which really hurt their relationship in the long run. To me reboot Minto is an OC, it isn't Minto in any way it's just a totally different character wearing her skin. All her personality from the OG was stripped just like with the other girls and she has the same generic characterisation as everyone else in the reboot. Such a disappointment.

The first season was overall fine, but during the second season I saw a gradual decline in quality from episode to episode, and for me the “jumping the shark” was indeed episode 16. Now, I understand that Shirogane might have a soft spot for Ichigo (and it's very likely that he didn't tell this to Lettuce so as not to hurt her further), I understand that Lettuce's story arc is about gaining self-confidence, I understand that the moral of the episode is "unrequited love exists and if the person you love doesn't reciprocate your feelings, you need to be strong and move on", I understand that they wanted to be more faithful to the manga, I understand that those who worked on this reboot are probably aware that the fandom ship Lettuce with both Ryou and Pai and they tried to please both "factions"... But when you, screenwriters, drop an "emotional atomic bomb" at the end of the aforementioned episode and then this two characters never talk about it again, almost as if it never happened... I’m sorry, but I think it's an insult to the viewer's intelligence. The “confession + rejection” could have really add value to Lettuce/Ryou couple, giving it a bittersweet touch that would have made their dynamics more interesting than those of all the other couples in the series. Instead, none of this was shown due to poor series planning. Yeah, in the last episode we see Lettuce and Shirogane chatting happily in the background during the party, so I assume they remained on good terms despite everything, but I agree with you: this isn’t a proper conclusion to their story arc. Unless they're secretly working on a sequel (even though “New” is ended, the idol group Smewthie has not yet announced its disbandment and some Japanese fans speculate that the Reboot Project has been put on hold indefinitely), it was a huge missed opportunity for me.

I agree... the show needed more content, more length in runtime in order to expand the character. But, the fact that she's a still an emotional kid, wants to be more active in her duties and not offend her family was a nice addition. You can't fully fault her, things don't make sense completely to her either. As for the corporations not coming to the rescue, I can agree on that fully. Humans need course correction after all. Although, her being inspired by Zakuro to persue her own path after feeling unnoticed by her family was handled well.

I really felt like the whole reboot series missed character development and charm… I used to love Kisshu but he just felt off in the reboot 😅

My main issue with the game is that if I spend what the price of a full game would be I should have a guarantee on a decent return with draws. I’m getting better ones sometimes but having 10 or so draws that give no 5 stars when blue crystals are super scarce seems kinda scam-ish when if you decide to buy a 10 roll it’s almost $20

💙 Honestly, I enjoyed *Mint Aizawa* and her character development in *Tokyo Mew Mew New* better than her character development from the 2002 anime. 💙

I haven't played the game myself but the amount of constant events there are feels like after the maybe the first year or so they're not gonna happen often anymore out of a lack of ideas and the game will just die. Once again I haven't played the game and I'm not a time traveler so I don't know atall if this will end up happening.

Great vid! I've been auto playing this game since launch but similar to you I'm stuck since I just hit auto for my build and playing so I've never beaten the hardest fights. Hopefully the auto AI gets better and we get more crystals!

2:38 idk i personally prefer this. before she was just some snooty girl whose dog turned on her. by adding this scene later in the series, we got to know Mint better and about her struggles in decision making, which opens up for that sweet dialogue between zakuro and minto about how that’s okay. i get what you mean, it was a surprise to me too, but i don’t think having Mint be a mew first really had that much of a negative impact. it sort of added to her (half façade) “holier than thou” energy in a way since she was technically the first at the same time, i watched the series over the last 2 days (aside from the last 2 eps of season 2) and i do remember it sort of as a filler ep

Hmm, if Strelitzia becomes the Ms. Exposition and starts doing the background/off-screen/passive work.... Dose this mean Namine might start getting in some action? Because I can see her turning out to be OP powerhouse, if she ever got into some combat training.... hey, even without it she accidentally one-shot the Riku Replica like it was nothing... if she decides that there may be times where she will need to fight, she could make herself into a big threat. Like, for a Namine boss fight, I imagine her periodically trapping the player character in a memory of a previous boss they faced (so, like, if facing her as Aqua, she can force rematches against Ventus/Vanitas, Terranort, and the Mirror Illusion Aqua... but when facing her as Sora, she forces rematches against KH1 Riku, Marluxia... which may be glitchy since Sora doesn't remember fighting him in CoM, and Xemnas) only to then copy the abilities of those memory-bosses to use against you once you break out and can fight her directly again (making the last leg of the fight have her use the abilities of all three of the bosses).... all while telekinetically controlling and summoning chains to use as weapons (with the chains also maybe taking different shapes to help mimic some of the attacks of the memory-bosses).

Yeah they do look similar but Namine looks innocent while Strelitzia looks angelic💙💕❄️🎉

It’s very possible that Strelizia was meant to be a decoy to fool the darkness into playing along with the Master of masters’ scheme, similar to how Naminé was meant to be a distraction to fool Sora into being a puppet for Marluxia and Larxene. To support my initial statement, we know that the Master would have known about Ventus being in the future and thus would have also known about Vanitas (one of the 13 great darknesses who may or may not have been destroyed in 3 because of Xehanort giving him physical form in BBS). And then from there I’m sure we can fill in the blanks with knowledge we already know

I'm convinced that the Strelitzia we see is a Data copy that Luxu created to monitor the future. Mark my words, the data worlds will be the key to getting Sora home (somehow) sonce fata already breaches the lines between realityband fiction.

Namine and strelitzia arent parallel. Kairi is namines parallel. Strelitzia might play a role parallel to both of them, but namine being in the final world with her is due to kairi losing her form, making namines heart float wondering until sora tells her to go there. So it isn't like she ended up there like strelitzia because of any connection. I mean, KH has parallels throughout every character, but in the end we will never be able to guess what Nomura plans to do.
