The song Music Box is criminally underrated. And so is I Am Free. Definitely her most underrated masterpieces. Listen to how her voice LIGHTS up and opens up whenever she sings songs she's never or rarely done live. She sounds a million times better, and often exactly like the track. I think she's done really well in the past few years but I know her vocal chords are TIRED of doing the same songs over and over for decades. Not to mention she's probably mentally tired of doing them, too.

Also it's such a unique concept for a song! The opening is pure nostalgic heartwarming bliss, the coloratura is amazing, the lyrics are simple yet touching, the satisfying build up till the final chorus "AND I FEEL... and your LO-OO-OVE JUST breaks away the clouds surrounding me"

Currently my favourite song. I still can't wrap my head around why she didn't perform music box during the MUSIC BOX tour! And why it wasn't a single. Here she sounds so good but is just "doing it for laughs"?? It lasts a total of 1 minute and she's talking for half the time lmao. I'm offended by her past and current negligence towards this song

I was there this night! I got to see her after the show! One thing I will say! Wow! Honestly her voice sounds 10x better in person! When she sung music box! Her voice was so warm and filled the room with so much joy! A night I will never forget!

SHE BROUGHT THE HEAT FOR THE 3RD SHOW ON THE MONDAY CAUSE SHE KNEW THE CORE FANS WOULD BE THERE (VS THE CASUAL FANS ON SAT-SUN) but she has sung a snippet of "music box" before in 2018 for the 25th anniversary of that album, REAL TALK THO this performance got me good, so glad i went ;)
